  1. Another fine start by a SOX pitcher that won't be rewarded with a win. In fact, depending how this inning goes, Crawford may end up with a loss. Truly pathetic.
  2. Some teams used to fine pitchers for giving up 0-2 base hits.
  3. Toronto refusing to give up their hold on last place.
  4. Put him at 2nd. He seems more capable there.
  5. Good plays by both Wong and Devers.
  6. Hamilton continues to hit the ball hard. Keep him in the line-up. Why not?
  7. That's 32 solos. I'm gonna start keeping track because there may be a MLB season record going on here.
  8. A HR with 2 men on=3 solo HR's. I have always done well in math.
  9. Just be patient, Max. Those HS draftees will turn this shite, er, I mean ship around.
  10. Two Wongs would make this a better team. Btw, Devers now batting .180 with RISP. Isn't that special?
  11. Prior to last night's game the Cards had hit only 32 HR's. With the 4 they smashed last night, that was a 12.5% increase.
  12. I'm guessing the 31 solo HR's are the most in MLB.
  13. The SOX FO circling around DFA's like vultures.
  14. I believe the SOX FO thinks DFA means Desirable Free Agents. As a SOX fan I believe DFA stands for Dumpster Fire Acquisitions.
  15. Thanks again, MOON. You the man. 31 solo shots; I'd have guessed more.
  16. The SOX have hit 46 HR's so far this season. I've checked the internet and haven't been able to find how many of those have been solo jobs. If anyone here has the number of solo HR's, I'd be interested in knowing.
  17. I've always referred to Pasta as a one-trick pony, and when he's not doing his one trick, he's a liability on the ice.
  18. The team ERA took a small dent last night. Btw, I'm having a hard time deciding which highly paid Boston sports' figure I dislike more. It's either David Pastrnak or Devers. It could just end up a tie.
  19. Other 'Gibsons' who could shut down the SOX: Mel (actor/director) Henry (comedian) Charles (TV broadcaster) John (pro-hockey goalie)
  20. I will be recording the SOX game for later viewing. The BRUINS are the main priority tonight by a long shot.
  21. Mariano Rivera. He did pretty well with mainly one pitch.
  22. When I saw the Cards' pitcher Gibson posted by Max as the starter, I immediately thought of Bob Gibson. But the Cards don't need Bob Gibson to shut down the SOX line-up; hell, Hoot Gibson could handle this SOX offense.
  23. I'm going back to my old line, but it's never been truer than now: "I've seen better line-ups on DRAGNET."
  24. Good news: SOX score 5 runs. Amazing. Bad news: SOX descending fast to reclaim their basement apartment.
