    Trading Duran, who is perhaps the most exciting player on the team and one of the best defensive OF's in the league and who is being paid the league minimum, really makes a lot of sense. Nonsense.

    Look at Duran. He was considered a liability in the OF until this season. Now he's one of the best. Definitely coaching, but only if the player is 100% committed to what the coach is preaching. One major thing about Duran; speed never slumps, whether it's on offense or defense.

    The SOX FO signing Bailey was one of their better moves in the off season.

    Hammy is definitely better at 2nd than at SS.

    Giving credit where credit's due. Terrific defense by the SOX tonight, including the most recent by Smith.

    Hamilton continues to make excellent plays at 2nd. And his bat hasn't been too shabby either.

    Houck entered tonight's game with a 1.50 ERA on the road. Another excellent start tonight. How important is a good pitching coach? Just ask Houck.

    Houck doesn't seem affected by having runs scored behind him. That's been a rare event.

    Two homers, so far, and neither were solos. Things are looking up.

    Devers has been delivering more of late than UPS.

    The last player to hit 20 triples was Jimmy Rollins in 2007.The MLB record is 36 back in the early 1900's.

    Just as strong as their starting pitching is the SOX defense in the OF.

    Excellent play by Rafaela overturned because of BS.

    If any team this season can strike out 20 times in a game, it would be this SOX team.

    That relates to a thing called timely hitting, which the SOX have not been too efficient at for a large part of the season.

    Houck vs Bradley(RH) SOX are in the crap state of Florida playing the 1st of 3 in an equally crappy ballpark against a team that owns them. Hopefully, the SOX can try to get un-owned starting tonight. Go SOX!

    Congrats to Devers for 5 game homer streak; congrats to Duran for shortest triple ever, his league leading 7th; and a big congrats to Pivetta for one helluva start.

    I think I've talked myself into watching THE NATURAL tonight. My favorite baseball movie.

    I also heard he has trouble with off speed stuff, so, again, he should fit right in. But what the hell, he can't be any worse at the plate than the two clowns that are already here.
