  1. I'd say 'toast' at this point would define most of the starting staff.
  2. You can spin this anyway you want, but it's got to be deflating to the SOX batters that they have to continue to score 6 to 7 runs most games to have a any chance of winning.
  3. What impresses me even more about the SOX offense is that they don't get to bat against their own pitching staff.
  4. Oh,well, thank goodness the SOX won the 1st 2. I highly doubt that even scoring 9 runs tonight will be enough.
  5. With the way this starting staff has pitched the last couple of months 4 runs will never be enough. A double on an 0-2 pitch is unforgivable.
  6. Another SOX Jansen comes thru.
  7. Love those shutdown innings.
  8. Romy is similar to finding a working McIntosh amp in a dumpster.
  9. Rafaela saves a run with a nice catch.
  10. So many HR's given up by Crawford, I'm surprised he's not suffering from whiplash.
  11. You can't help being impressed with what that 24 year older can do on the ball field.
  12. Striking out The Natural was an excellent way to end the game.
  13. White Sox beating the A's 3-1 in Oakland after 6 in front of a crowd that barely qualifies as a crowd.
  14. A sweep tomorrow will give the SOX a 9-9 record since the break. Not bad considering they were 3-8 at one point. Oh, yeah, the O's lost tonight. Yankems were rained out.
  15. Great job by Kenley. Great win!
  16. You can't score 9 every game. Unfortunately, when the SOX 'only' score 6, the game will usually end up a coin flip.
  17. Melindez must be the most dangerous .194 batter in MLB.
  18. We didn't lose a Mr Anderson; we gained a Mr Garcia.
  19. Garcia could be the SOX next Robles.
  20. Not having a 'real' SS can be frustrating at times.
  21. There's a lot of that going around in MLB. A lot of players are learning the game in the big show, instead of the minor leagues.
  22. Are you saying that Casas may get Wallly Pipped? I seriously doubt it.
  23. Houston pitcher just missed a NO NO with 2 outs in the 9th against Texas. A two run homer by Seager.
  24. I was listening to a Casas interview yesterday and realized that he may be the Bill Walton of baseball.
