  1. I'm pretty sure the SOX batters know that they have to score at least 6 runs before the game even starts.
  2. Houck, like Kutter, has pitched more innings then he's ever pitched previously, and it's obviously been apparent.
  3. When it comes to SOX pitching, be afraid, be very afraid. Not sure if the SOX averaging over 6 runs per game since July 1st is sustainable thru the end of the season.
  4. Actually, imho, he has excelled at hitting pitcher's mistakes.
  5. Two nice defensive plays by Wong in this game.
  6. When one considers Rafaela's complete ignorance of the strike zone, it's amazing he's put up the numbers he has, so far.
  7. Rangers' announcers criticizing Masa for being slow and bad defensively. Hey, dumb asses, have you looked at your own team's line-up? Damn, I hate Texas.
  8. Missed call denied Houck of 3 K's on 9 pitches.
  9. Along with Duran, Wong and Abreu. All three at league minimum. REF is at 1.85 mil.
  10. REF has been damn good bang for the buck!
  11. I should know this, but has Wong played 1st previously this season?
  12. I'm guessing Cora is resting O'Neill tonight in hopes he can stay healthy for the rest of the season.
  13. It's just pre-game shite.
  14. BTW, the Phillies are dropping faster than an Acme anvil. Harper is 0 for his last 22.
  15. I don't think there were any complaints regarding trading Dugo. The jury is still out regarding Fitts.
  16. Based on the number of starters going down with injuries this season, I believe any premium starter the SOX pick up with a multi-year contract is a risk. Gio is a perfect example; no history of injuries and then boom.
  17. Yup. I figured Fried's 170 mil would be a stretch.
  18. Watching the Jays/Yankems game and as bad as Girardi was as a manager, he's even worse in the YES booth. I didn't think anyone could be worse than Ken Singleton, but Girardi proved I was wrong.
  19. So you're saying there is a chance?
  20. Rumor mill: SOX FO will go all out to obtain Atlanta's Max Fried during the off-season. The 31 year old Fried will be looking for a 6yr/170 million contract. What do you guys think?
  21. I certainly hope tonight's Mr TBD is as effective as last night's Mr TBD.
  22. The Royals(10-4) and the Padres(9-2) have the two best records since the break. The White Sox(0-14) and the Phillies(3-9) have the two worst records.
  23. Devers is smokin'!
  24. The SOX average runs per game since the ASB, counting tonight, is 6.54.
