  1. Nice shut down inning.
  2. If that wasn't true, it would be funny.
  3. 5 walks and 3 K's in that half inning. You don't see that a lot.
  4. Walks are better than hits when the team has stopped hitting.
  5. Bailey has been given the unenviable job of polishing shite.
  6. If one is looking for pitching, stay away from the SOX farm.
  7. Too 'strengthen' the pen the FO brought up Horn again. Horn of plenty. Will Mr Anderson be next? Stay tuned.
  8. Well, at least they got one start from hm. Paxton returns to the SOX and immediately goes on the IL, where he spent most of his time when he was previously on the SOX. Same old Story.
  9. It was good to see Martin back on the mound. Mr Reliable.
  10. Another lead off double that that never turns into a run. The SOX have mastered that.
  11. True, but what we need is pitching and it's too late to fix that.
  12. Nice attempt to come all the way back by the SOX. Unfortunately, scoring 4 runs will lead to many more losses than wins.
  13. That was impressive against Hader.
  14. If offense was 90% of the game, the SOX would be in 1st place.
  15. If I had to pick my most memorable SOX offensive moment this season, it would be Masa's 2-run homer with 2 outs against the Yankems in the 9th to tie the game.
  16. If the SOX finish this season over .500, it will be a major achievement. Hats off to most of the players who've overachieved at this point of the season. And be encouraged by the SOX top prospects, who will be brought up to the 'big show' sometime in the future.
  17. Dever was hitting over .300 before this game. Based on his history, I doubt that's sustainable.
  18. Not surprised. Many of the outs by Keller were also hit hard.
  19. One more thing about a long baseball season; it separates the real contenders from the eventual pretenders.
  20. There goes the no hitter and the shutout on one pitch.
  21. D. Smith has been playing a very good 1st base defensively.
  22. Interestingly enough, the SOX were no-hit by a pitcher named Righetti.
  23. Based on his high ERA and high WHIP, he must throw a lot of meatballs.
