It appears the SOX have another reliever in waiting. His name is Penrod and he's been a starter at WOO with an ERA of 6.66. He's just been moved to relieving duties. He throws around 97mph.

Devers tried to prevent the run from scoring. Maybe his sore shoulder is affecting his brain.

So the SOX will start the bottom of the 10th with a runner on 2nd and no outs. What possibly could go wrong?

Btw, I found out this morning that the top 3 SOX prospects have all been promoted to WOO.

Right now the SOX have 3 reliable men in the BP; Jansen, Martin, and Kelly. That ain't gonna do it.

In the case of Paxton, I believe most of us didn't feel he would finish the season, but I doubt any one thought it would be this soon.

In the case of Horn, it's the 2nd time Cora was dealt that Joker this season.

The best hitter in this game is Seagar. The best hitter in the KC series was Witt, Jr. Both SS's. I don't know how the SOX star SS would perform because he hardly ever plays.
