I'm glad I wasn't the only one noticing Duran's propensity for K'ing in the 1st. It's almost expected at this point. -
Pivetta vs Eflin Duran(CF) Abreu Refsnyder Devers Wong Masa Smith Rafaela(SS) Hamilton Hopefully, Pivetta can give the SOX 7 tonight and leave most of the relievers in the BP, where they can do no harm. Go SOX!

Kenley and Martin will be available tomorrow night, which means the SOX starter will have to go 7.

Messing up an easy DP cost the game. You can't make this BP get 4 outs, when they can barely get 3 outs.

Devers has been good at 3rd, D. Smith has been good at 1st. Middle D is below average. Outfield D has been very good. Catchers have been average.

Hard to stay contending with a 3 man BP.

What defense? 2nd and SS are really stretching that word.

It definitely hurts defensively not having 'Iron Man' Story out there.

Combining a bad BP with bad defense is not a good thing. Btw, Semien may be the best defensive 2nd baseman I've seen in a very long time.
