  1. Otoh, there's a slight chance that the Sox could tie Seattle for the 3rd best record in the AL at 90-72.
  2. It's possible that the Sox, the Tigers and the Guardians could all finish at 88-74.
  3. I'm sure you were disappointed that it wasn't caught. It messed up all your predictions about the Flops, plus the fact that it was hit by Rafaela. Just a bad night for you all around.
  4. I agree it's not a skill set, but at the same time there are certain players who do come through in timely situations more than others. And in many cases they're not the best hitter on the team. Also, not all baseballs that are hit hard in timely situations end up being base hits, so a little bit of luck has to be involved.
  5. Two defensive plays that shouldn't be forgotten. Duran's game saving catch in the 1st and Lowe's double saving grab late in the game.
  6. His previous two years with the Sox he has a.285 BA. How does that relate to crap?
  7. They also had the best record in the AL East. The toughest division in the AL.
  8. Apple+ booth keeps repeating that since 6/30 the Sox have the best record in the AL.
  9. I blame Breslow for the Sox making the PO's. W/O Crochet and Chappy this ain't happening.
  10. Damn right. Congratulations Moon and the rest of us crazy fanatics.
  11. Winning on a walk off. The paying fans got their money worth tonight.
  12. Hopefully, the Sox don't party too hard. This team doesn't need more injuries before the PO's start.
