  1. The same thing the Jays' pitcher and catcher were doing. All thinking there were two outs. I'm guessing it was the ump's mistake because they tend to suck.
  2. This is all based on not knowing if Crochet and Anthony will return this season and how much they can contribute if they do return.
  3. Before 6/25 the Sox were a .410 team. From 6/25-8/09 the Sox were an .820 team. At the end of the season the Sox will be somewhere between .410 and .820. More than likely it will be closer to .410.
  4. So far this looks like the pre 6/25 Sox. As did the last two games against the A's.
  5. How long did you think the Sox would play .865 baseball? That's what their winning percentage was from 6/25-8/07.
  6. When a team has come back to Earth, it may take a while to get their land legs working.
  7. The chances would be greatly improved if Crochet and Anthony would FINALLY return to playing. If Anthony ever returns, Duran can be the Sox full-time pinch runner.
  8. I blame the series loss on the old proven law of averages. The Sox were overdue to lose and the A's were way overdue to win.
  9. The worst team in baseball has given the Sox the hardest time since 6/25.
  10. I'm not saying the Sox have returned to Earth yet, but they may be reaching the Earth's atmosphere.
