  1. Astros leading 5-0 in the second. Doesn't look like any help from the A's today.
  2. Over their last 5 games, all losses, the Astros have scored 2 runs with a team batting average of ,136. Today they have their hitting shoes on and lead the A's 2-0 after one.
  3. Btw, the only thing that will provide Fred with complete satisfaction is the Sox not making the PO's. Then he can brag that he was right about the Flops from day one. He hates to admit he's wrong, which is common among narcissists.
  4. True and he's so proud of injecting the word Flops in most of his posts.
  5. Speaking of Devers, he did have a very good August, but as he did here the previous two seasons, he's had a complete collapse in September.
  6. Watch out for the A's next season. I'm glad they're not going to be in the PO's this season.
  7. I'll also keep it real. Not one GM of a contending team at the deadline obtained a top shelf starter. I know this will matter little to you, but I'm just trying to keep it real, not fantasy.
  8. Freddy's just disappointed because it appears the Sox will make the PO's. However, if the Sox lose a PO series, he'll just continue calling them the Flops and continue to blame Brez for not obtaining a top shelf starter at the deadline. And he'll post M&M's for the 1000th time.
  9. I'm guessing that next season when strike and ball challenges are instituted, the strike zone frame we all see on TV will be removed.
  10. Wrong. Human umps will still call balls and strikes. Robo umps will only be used for challenges. I was referring to when MLB goes completely Robo Ump. Don't think that the Umpires' Union won't raise a fuss. Probably threatening going on strike.
  11. Yup. He's already got the high 90's heater. Once he develops his other weapons he could definitely be a force. Both he and Early have excellent potential. It doesn't hurt to have Crochet and Bailey working with them.
  12. If Houston doesn't make the PO's, maybe they will offer Breggy a 5 year deal.
  13. IMHO, the Sox have the best starter and the best closer in MLB. If only Brez had done his job.
  14. Besides winning the CY Young I expect Crochet will be in the top 5 in the MVP voting.
  15. Crochet has saved the overworked BP many times this season. One of the defining jobs of being an ACE.
  16. He hasn't been good in a while. Personally, I believe he's tired, either mentally or physically or a little of both. Hopefully, tomorrow he can prove me wrong.
  17. A rare thing happened in MLB this season. No team will win 100 games. The Brewers a couple of weeks ago looked like a lock getting 100 or more wins. Adding insult to injury, the Brewers are the only MLB team with a chance of finishing with a .600+ winning %.
  18. I believe the Sox have as good a chance of winning the AL PO's as any other team. There's no great team in the AL this season.
  19. As much as I like Anthony even if he does come back in the middle of the PO's, how effective is he going to be? I think we should accept the fact that these current 13 offensive players will be the ones in the entire PO's.
