  1. Excellent catch. Nothing else to say.
  2. Of course, right after I post JD's approach of going to the opposite field, he pulls it.
  3. No rest for the wicked BP.
  4. Great play by the likable Holt.
  5. Maybe JD's approach to hitting is catching on to his teammates.
  6. Watching Price reminds me that it's a shame the SOX haven't retired Dewey's number. I believe he earned it.
  7. Also, sometimes one has to tip his/her cap to the opposing pitcher.
  8. Btw, can't help wondering if Sale, when seeing the line-up backing him up today, perhaps thought that Cora doesn't like me.
  9. It probably added a little more pressure for Sale knowing he probably wouldn't get too much offense w/o at least having JD in the line-up.
  10. I should have said that it's stupid to not at least have one of your two best hitters in the line-up.
  11. May not have mattered today, but having the team's two best hitters not starting is not how to manage to win. How exhausting would it have been for JD to DH. C'mon, Cora, use your head.
  12. Pedey seems to like that 1 sq. ft area in RF.
  13. or go to a 4 man rotation. Only kidding.
  14. I wonder what odds I'd have gotten today if I predicted that Moreland would hit a triple and Betts would drop a ball in RF?
  15. That song never gets old.
  16. Kelly's always had a great arm. It was his head that seemed to be the problem for him. It appears his head is now on straight.
  17. I remember when Kelly predicted he would win the Cy Young award right after he joined the SOX. So far this season he's been Cy Young out of the BP.
  18. Andrew! 1-4 in the line-up right now is extremely dangerous.
  19. The SOX now have 3 options to bat 8th in the line-up. Swihart, JBJ, or Holt. Who would like to see bat there more often?
  20. Poor VAZ. That would have been a HR in Yankem stadium.
  21. Great job by Wright today. His knuckler has been good. Bring him out for the 8th?
  22. Tough break for Pedey. He's hit the ball hard today.
  23. With the sparsity of good starting pitching in MLB, I'm sure every team, except maybe Houston, has a problem at the #5 spot in the rotation.
  24. I wonder when it was the last time the SOX had 3 hitters with an OPS of over 1.000 at this time of the season?
