  1. That's another thing. The SOX have a 3rd baseman who has made over 20 errors so far, and they're playing .700 ball. Is it mirrors?
  2. The Mets did try to make a game of it in the 9th. The only good thing was that the Mets didn't allow a-hole Chapman from getting the save.
  3. The hell with it, I'm gonna do the nice post about X-man. So far this season Betts and JD have been the two names mentioned as MVP for the SOX as everyday players and rightly so. I believe that X-man, based on clutch hits this year, his marked defensive improvement at SS, and his overall numbers all around is right up there with Betts and JD for team MVP. Again, I'm only referring to everyday players. If I was including pitchers, then Sale and Kimbrel would also be at the top of the list.
  4. Damn, if X-man had hit a HR, I had a very nice post about him ready to type. But the game is far from over and maybe I'll get to use that post later.
  5. Yesterday I posted that it was safe to say that this SOX team is very injury prone. Today, with the SOX playing their 100th game, I think it's safe to say that no team in baseball history has had a winning percentage of almost .700 after a 100 games with as many holes to fill as the SOX.
  6. On thing players like A-Rod, Bryce Harper, and Iggy have in common. They each entered the major leagues as *******s , and *******s they will remain.
  7. My take on Mookie is that he's only human. There will be games throughout this marathon season where he will go 0 for whatever.
  8. B. Johnson(LH) 1-2 4.20 vs M. Fiers(RH) 6-6 3.70 Game time 6:10 EST.
  9. 70-30 would be beyond amazing. I'm always hearing how a certain team is hot; they've won 7 of their last 10 games. The SOX have won 7 of their last 10 games all season, so far.
  10. Chavis was the only one mentioned. Nothing was said about any other players being involved. I've been begging for Britton for weeks. He would make a much stronger bridge to Kimbrel. Also provides the SOX with a better chance of having a closer if they can't re-sign Kimbrel for next season.
  11. It's actually Mike Chavis. Nick Carafaldo(spelling) stated the trade was close and the O's are very interested in Chavis.
  12. Only reporting what I just read on MLB.
  13. I wonder if this was the longest 1-0 nine inning game in history?
  14. DD very close to acquiring Zach Britton. Prospect Mike Chavez would be part of the deal.
  15. Thank goodness there's no more ASG's this year. Remember when they used to have 2?
  16. I was thinking the exact same thing.
  17. That was a bizarre inning. It was actually more than bizarre, but I don't know what that word would be.
  18. One word describes this game UGLY.
  19. No No Nunez seldom disappoints. You expect nothing and that's what you get.
  20. Looks like our all-stars left their bats at the ASG.
  21. I wouldn't be too proud to accept a wild pitch in the very near future.
  22. They got it right. Who'd of thunk it?
  23. I think it's safe to say at this point in the season that the SOX are an injury prone team. Is bubblewrap the answer?
