  1. Hopefully, that will get Beni back on track. If the SOX are gonna go all the way this year, everyone's bat has got to be working.
  2. Unlike POM,who, at least, allowed the OF to make great plays on the hard hit balls against him, Thornybird would have required much taller OF's to help him.
  3. Actually, nice job by the SOX OF. POM allowed the Chicago batters to highlight the SOX OF defense. POM has nothing.
  4. Having the best defensive OF in baseball prevents the SOX pitching staff from being worse than they already are.
  5. I probably should have said Price and Sale and 3 days of hail.
  6. I think you're right, but I was adapting it for a 5 man rotation.
  7. Spahn and Sain and 3 days of rain.
  8. As of late the SOX starters have been killing it. The BP, that is.
  9. I've said this many times, but it's true. You can't polish s***. Pedro was a great pitcher, not a magician.
  10. Kopech has control issues so, of course, JBJ swings at the 1st pitch.
  11. Eovaldi continues to Deovolve.
  12. I beat you to it. He's the worst of all time. Even worse than Rizzuto, if that's even possible.
  13. Obviously pay back for Betts. No warning by ump, so who will be the next SOX to get plunked?
  14. How do you get even when the pitcher plunks you with a fastball? Easy; you let the pitcher pick you off.
  15. I wonder what WAR number these nerds would have given Ted Williams because he wasn't a great defensive outfielder and he didn't steal bases? Note to numbers guys: Hitting a baseball is still the most difficult part of the game.
  16. Talking heads on MLB using analytics to rank JD 6th in MVP voting. There really is a good place for analytics; it's where the sun don't shine. A bunch of nerds who never played the game provide numbers that are supposed to replace what your lying eyes are actually seeing. One thing these *******s have on their bucket list is to give Trout a BJ.
  17. Calling a Yankem fan an 'ignorant *******' is redundant.
  18. At this point I would think Devers is the odd man out. Of course, this depends on how well Nunez continues to perform at 3rd and with the bat.
  19. Also, if Wright is pitching in the playoffs, VAZ seems the most capable of catching his knuckler.
  20. SWI can play other positions besides catching, so I wouldn't count VAZ being left out of the playoffs.
  21. I don't believe Eovaldi has been here long enough to have a personal catcher, so I'm expecting SWI to start tomorrow. But with Cora one never can be certain, even if it seems the obvious thing to do.
  22. No clock in baseball. No stalling. One must get 27 outs to win.
  23. It's been a while since we saw the JD/Holt bear hug dance.
