  1. Note to Price: Either pitch 7 or put your fate in the hands of your BP. Your choice.
  2. There's 4 teams, maybe 5, in the AL that are better than the best team in the NL. IOW, the odds are which ever AL team gets to the WS will win the WS. Why not us?
  3. The SOX will get to the WS with their bats or they won't get there at all.
  4. Moreland has joined Leon in the automatic out category.
  5. It's not over yet. Cora has tried to throw other games, but the SOX offense failed to oblige.
  6. As great as the SOX are, they can't be Cora-proof every game.
  7. I'm sorry, but this BP does not equate to a team that's 50+ games over .500. Cora using 7 run rule for Kelly.
  8. If it's true that pitching and defense wins playoff games, then Houston is the team to beat again this year.
  9. What we have here is the team with the best home record vs the team with the best road record. The two best teams in baseball.
  10. And this is why JD should be batting 3rd in all games.
  11. Notice again how fast opposing managers replace their pitchers before it's a river of no return.
  12. It would help if the SOX could just have one starter besides Sale go 7.
  13. Kinsler blew it by not leaving the tag on the runner.
  14. 7 would have been nice, but still a fine job by Price.
  15. Note to ******* umps: if you're gonna do a make-up call, don't do it on the next batter.
  16. As usual, the HP umpire sux. I wonder if the league, which must be aware of the putrid job being done behind the plate, will do anything about it when the season's over? Hitting the umps with foul balls to get them out of the game is only a temporary fix.
  17. Leon reintroduces himself to the 1st base coach.
  18. No reason not to use SWI at 1st against RH.
  19. 64-11 when the SOX score the 1st run of the game. Which means that they're 33-33 when they don't.
  20. So who's the better pitcher? Kluber or Sale? They both have ace stuff and great stats. The deciding difference in my opinion is that Kluber gives his team 6 months of quality starts, while Sale only gives the SOX 5 months.
  21. G. Cole 13-5 2.86 vs D. Price 14-6 3.60 Cole has some awesome stats this year, but he's RH. SOX have done very well vs RH's so far this year.
  22. In defense of Sandy Leon: Sandy is batting under .200, but he does provide excellent defensive catching. The starting catcher for the Yankems is batting .185 and provides nothing close to excellent defensive catching. He actually sux as a catcher. And his 2 passed balls in the bottom of the 1st helped give the A's a 4-0 lead.
  23. Most of the year the SOX have proven to be Cora-proof.
  24. Great game. I wasn't available to watch the game live so I recorded it and just finished watching it. If this game didn't kill Atlanta, nothing will. POM s/b DFA'd asap. Waste of a position player. B. Phillips, to quote OB, went from 0 to hero. Great debut and he can play 3rd base, if needed. No quit on this team as was amplified in today's great comeback. Btw, nice piece of hitting by Beni to set up Phillips' dinger.
