  1. 95 wins at this point with the team's best pitcher missing his last 5 starts; that's pretty impressive.
  2. A lot of hard hit balls that inning.
  3. Taking advantage of other team's mistakes has been a very consistent positive for the SOX this year.
  4. Picking up Kinsler helps make up for the train wreck that is Eovaldi.
  5. Too bad there isn't a Viagra for baseball offense, because lately in so many games the SOX have only been able to get it up for one inning or no innings.
  6. The SOX offense is like a car accident where the policeman says "alright people, keep moving; there's nothing to see here."
  7. Eovaldi threw 39 pitches in that 1st inning. That's a number you'd hope to see after 3 innings. Pretty impressive.
  8. Hope I'm starting the thread tomorrow.
  9. Eovaldi 2-3 4.50 vs Toussaint 1-0 1.50 betts beni jd x-man moreland nunez kinsler vaz eovaldi
  10. Off topic: I'd be derelict in my duties if I didn't mention that the Netflix series OZARK has just included the complete season two to their schedule. I was addicted to season one because it had a BREAKING BAD vibe. If you haven't seen OZARK and you did like BREAKING BAD, please check it out.
  11. It's only Sept 1st and the SOX have now won one more game than they had won all of last year. Unbelievable!
  12. Unlike those other 3 teams you mentioned and the O's and the Jay's, the ChiSox are heading in the right direction.
  13. Kinsler, btw, was an excellent pick-up. The kind of player you want in the playoffs.
  14. JBJ has gotten some frequent flyer miles tonight.
  15. Whether Devers returns or not, 3rd base s/b Nunez's until he fails, which he may not.
  16. What Brasier is doing based on where the SOX found him doesn't happen too often in this game. Kudos to whomever scouted him.
  17. Pitcher-phobia throwing to 1st base prevents Beni from enduring a lot of cuss words here. He has stunk lately.
  18. Do you really want Mr Fragile running anywhere? And that was an inexperienced play by Pearce.
  19. Pearce may be slower than Leon.
  20. It's already the best start the SOX have had in over a week.
  21. Other than perhaps Price, what pitcher on the SOX is fit?
  22. I liked Sale better when he wasn't injured.
