That can be easily fixed. Just start the make-up game where the postponed game ended. Currently, they only do that after 5 innings if the game is tied.
OB says the SOX organization was unhappy about how the O's handled last night's game. Unless I'm wrong, once the games starts, a postponement of the game would be the decision of the head umpire.
POM has pitched 343 innings in his last two full seasons. Prior to that he never pitched over 102 in a season. If POM fails in his next start, I believe DD should put him on the DL for the remainder of the season. Hopefully, he will be back at full strength in 2019.
I agree. Crawford was a perfect example in reverse. He excelled in small market Tampa and failed miserably here. It actually happens more often than one might think.
Kelly has a rubber arm, unfortunately he also has a rubber head. IOW, it's not a physical problem with Kelly, it's a head issue. Not sure how a pitching coach w/o a degree in psychiatry can deal with that.
