    SOX caught a break there. McCann was safe. But it did provide more proof why Nunez shouldn't be anywhere near 2nd, except as a baserunner.

    Like I posted yesterday, it's truly amazing a team after 100 games is @ .700 winning pctg. with the amount of holes the SOX need to fill. Let me repeat that, TRULY AMAZING.

    The best solution for the SOX, both defensively and offensively, IMHO, is to platoon Devers and Nunez at 3rd and have Lin play 2nd, at least until Holt returns. After Holt returns, I never want to see Nunez at 2nd.

    I have absolutely no problem with SWI catching. From what I've seen he's done quite well. I do have a problem with Nunez playing 2nd.

    Agree, Spud. When Bogie made AQ, he no longer was insecure about his extreme over-bite. In fact, he pretty much flaunted it in this movie. Rumor had it that in his earlier films, he would have his upper lip glued to his front teeth so the over-bite wouldn't stand out.
