    Yes, there's certainly that option. I still believe he's suffering from a tired arm because of the number of pitches he's thrown the previous 2 years. If he looks lethargic again today, I think they should just shut him down for the rest of the season.

    With their many injuries and the underperforming Harper, I think it's incorrect to blame the manager. I'm not knowledgeable about whether Martinez is popular with the players or not, so it's hard to speculate if changing the manager would make a difference. Unless the Nats get a large overpay for Harper, I doubt they trade him.

    I believe POM's performance today will answer a lot of questions. If he shits the bed again, he'll either be put in the BP or placed on the 60 day DL.

    I'm sure he'll fit well in the SOX clubhouse. He plays hard and knows how to win. He and Pedey are the same age, in fact, they were teammates in college. With Pedey's future uncertain, this may turn out to be more than a rental.

    Also, I believe Kinsler is going to love the LF wall.

    Nunez playing 3rd works for me. He's a completely different player at 3rd than he is at 2nd. This move can only strengthen the SOX infield defense.

    Ian improves defense and adds pop to the line-up with his 13 HR's. Holt can now return to being super sub and Nunez can remain playing good D at 3rd. When Devers returns, a decision may be easier to make on who goes.
