I doubt Renfroe would want to go to a team that's going to platoon him. If you're so set on obtaining a Renfroe type player, then Beni would have to be part of the trade package.

Who can forget in 1978 when Martin pulled Reggie from the game for not hustling after the ball at Fenway? Then Martin and Jackson had to be separated in the dugout. In this era of baseball, that will never happen because the players are not allowed to be embarrassed no matter how much lack of hustle they show on the field. Anyone who really believes this baseball product has gotten better over the years must be too young to remember the 60's and 70's.

Moon, I heard a couple days ago MLB is discussing moving the mound further from home plate. If they move it back far enough, perhaps aluminum bats will be allowed. Just think, juiced balls and aluminum bats. There's a sight to behold.
