    Hopefully, before the deadline.
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Well, there's the slight chance that some GM of a non-contending team may, as someone here already mentioned, value Beni, believing a change of scenery might prove beneficial.
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Naw, I'm only here for shits and grins.
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I also doubt any NL team would be interested in JD.
  5. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
A package of Beni and JD might garner a decent starter. However, JD's opt out clause may cause some AL teams to hesitate. He might be attractive as a rental for a contending team, but what contending team is going to give up a decent starter?
  6. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
DD should trade him immediately after his next 3-hit game.
  7. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The SOX are not going to get a 'top shelf' pitcher for Beni alone. He'd have to be packaged with someone else and cash. Every game Beni plays his value decreases.
  8. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Every at bat decreases the chance that JD will opt out.
  9. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Hard to shop 'top shelf' when the SOX farm system looks like GRAPES OF WRATH.
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
His last name would have been a lot longer, but he shortened it by replacing 'toboggan' with 'ski.'
  11. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Mancini is very happy that Cashner was traded.
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    They shoot horses, don't they?
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    I was just employing sarcasm.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    10 batters up. 7 K's.
  15. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    1st SOX hit.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
It's too early to judge Cashner. He could still turn into the ACE the SOX need.
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I doubt C. Davis gets a hit against the O's pitcher.
  18. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Not too many paying customers at the ballpark. Yesterday's massacre must have discouraged O's fans.
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Btw, when do we start referring to JD as Ms July?
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Sorry, Jason already mentioned this.
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Based on his pitch count Cashner appears to be a perfect fit for this staff.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Cashner's been talking to Rick.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Mancini Peter Gunned that one.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Is this the same guy who was in BARNEY MILLER?
  25. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I notice Sisco isn't in the O's line-up, which means the O's have no CHANCE today.
