  1. If Who's on first, then Tomorrow's pitching.
  2. JD, the best hitter on the SOX, gets more at bats hitting 3rd. Simple math.
  3. I'll be Tivoing this game because the BRUINS are playing game 5 tonight. Still hate seeing JD batting 4th;he should be batting 3rd.Also, Betts s/b leading off. C'mon, Cora, get your head out of your azz.
  4. I've been watching the Cubs' game and they put up on the screen a stat I'd never seen before. It's called % of hard hit balls. Hard hit meaning anything 95+mph. Someone on the Cubs was leading the NL at 50%. They didn't show the AL leaders. I don't know if that's a new stat or if it's been around a while. Either way, I think it's helpful in breaking down a players approach at the plate.
  5. One last thing. 'Stone Hands' Nunez's inability to catch Bogie's toss to second base last night cost Eovaldi a run and about 20 extra pitches. IOW, that error cost Eovaldi another full inning of work. So, if I had to pick one play that cost the SOX the game last night, it was that one. Please DFA Nunez.
  6. Eovaldi looked good for his 6 innings, but then he always looks good against the Yankems. Btw, as bad as it was losing, getting beat by 'penis head' made it even worse.
  7. Just finished watching this loss. Had Tivo'd the game while watching the BRUINS win. The SOX are truly a terrible team in bad need of a real 2nd baseman. Also, a team that may have the worst hitting starting outfielder in MLB. I don't have to name him, it's obvious. Well, maybe I better name him, JBJ. Didn't want you to think I meant Betts, although he's looking more like a bowler than a baller. Baltimore will probably prevent this team from duplicating 2014, but it might be close. Oh well, if you keep breathing the scent of 2018, it might help overcome the stench of 2019.
  8. Much like last year Pedey will have a great seat to watch the game
  9. We'll take it, but RF in Yankem sandlot is a joke.
  10. Playing on this recently bad team won't effect JD's offense. He's played on other bad teams and performed well.
  11. The team that tied for most wins in a regular season in NHL history, just got swept by a WC entry. Also, the Penguins were just swept by the Islanders. The hockey player that no one is allowed to hit, Cindy Crosby, had one point in the 4 games. I still have faith the BRUINS will beat the Maple Syrups in the PO's.
  12. A forfeit would have made it 9-0. They should have stayed at the hotel.
  13. Yup, I was concerned about that.
  14. Have you tried that orange vanilla Coke? Not bad.
  15. Might have gone extra innings.
  16. You're doing 2018 thinking; unfortunately, this 2019 team isn't even close to 2018, even though the SOX have the same personnel.
  17. So did Porcello's after his last start.
  18. I agree, but the SOX, who spend more than most teams, do have 4 championships. I'm guessing that if the Phillies can win 1 or 2 with Harper, they will feel the investment was worth it. But that's a big IF.
  19. Slasher, you are one crazy guy.
  20. But Betts, unlike every other major leaguer, has pro bowling to fall back on. Unfortunately, pro bowling pays less than any other pro game.
  21. Well, Cora's plan to baby them during spring training has, so far, failed miserably.
  22. Depending on just how bad this season turns out, I only hope the FO doesn't give Cora as much rope as they gave Farrell.
