  1. It appears JD is quite happy with his current contract with the SOX.
  2. If you want to keep your boring streak alive, go and see Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. It's one of those movies where you just can't wait for the closing credits to arrive.
  3. When is less more? When it's less Moreland.
  4. I'm a big fan of the SOX and Quentin Tarantino movies. What they have in common is that the product each put on display this year was extremely disappointing. Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, imho, despite a strong cast, was the weakest film he's ever made. 160 minutes of blah.
  5. McCay 1-1 vs Cashner 10-5
  6. One thing we can all take to the bank is that the SOX scoring 5 runs will hardly ever be enough to win.
  7. I'm just defending the pitching coach. Like I've posted before; it's difficult to polish a turd.
  8. You could also blame the catchers if you so chose, but I will blame the VETERAN starters. These guys have been MLB pitchers for 10+ years and none of us know what their response is to LaVagnie's tweaks. But, like I posted earlier, LaVagnie will most likely get canned because it's a lot easier to fire him than the 3 veteran starters, whose best days are behind them.
  9. Baseball doesn't sadden me; the NEWS saddens me.
  10. The best thing I can say about JBJ as a hitter is man, he's a great defensive CF.
  11. Wasn't LaVagnie the pitching coach last year when the SOX won 119 games?
  12. High fastball. "Can't touch that."
  13. "When I say whoa, I mean whoa!"
  14. OB keeping track of Rays' K's. Hey, OB, it don't mean a thing if it ain't got swing.
  15. Btw, that was not a difficult prediction.
  16. I'd love to believe a new pitching coach is going to turn those 3 underachievers around, but I seriously doubt it.
  17. I did predict earlier that by the time the SOX scored 5 the Rays would have 7 or 8.
  18. LaVangie will likely be fired, while the SOX FO will give Cora about the same amount of rope they gave Farrell.
  19. And as far as most of the SOX BP, to make them better would require a pitching magician.
  20. I agree about the piss poor pitcher development in the SOX organization, but to blame the pitching coach when the team's starting staff are all veterans is a stretch. The s*** performances of Sale, Porcello, and Price are on them, not the pitching coach. E-rod and Workman have the same pitching coach and they seem to be doing fine.
  21. DD looks like a GM who has just discovered how important pitching is in baseball.
  22. True. That is the state of the game today.
  23. The SOX are like a major Hollywood motion picture with a lot of big stars, but the movie really isn't as good as it should be. The Rays are similar to a low budget independent film with a bunch of unknown actors, but the movie itself isn't half-bad.
