  1. Dalbec bec bec bec and gone!
  2. The SOX are still in it. They're the 'come from behind' champs.
  3. I wish VAZ had been the Isles' goalie in the 6th game of the PO's.
  4. I do thank thank most of them for overachieving, but overachieving only lasts so long.
  5. Of the SOX current 5 starters, imho, none would make you feel comfortable starting a PO game. Not to worry though, because with these 5, a shot at the PO's would be very slim.
  6. Richards is making E-Rod look economical.
  7. Hopefully, the SOX can put up 12 again tonight. I've found myself employing the word 'hopefully' a ton so far this season.
  8. At this point in time the SOX probably have the weakest starting staff of all the contenders.
  9. I was hopeful after about Richards' 1st 6 starts that he was getting back to his pre-injury days, but based on what I've seen of late it was probably a false hope.
  10. Stripling undressed JD on that at bat.
  11. That may have been the hardest hit one run inning I've seen this season.
  12. It's a good thing the SOX OF's have more accurate arms than the SOX pitchers.
  13. Well, you know that old baseball saying; play .500 at home and win on the road. Er, what's that? Nevermind.
  14. So Ted was wrong because during ASG he did play against the Say Hey Kid.
  15. And, of course, the ASG.
  16. I remember many years ago Larry King asked Ted Williams "who was the best player Ted ever played against?" Ted responded "Joe DiMaggio." Larry King came back with "what about Willie Mays?" to which Mr Williams replied "I never played against Willy Mays." I just liked the idea of neither league meeting until the WS.
  17. The last major change in baseball I actually liked was the DH. Every other change since I've not liked, including interleague play that initiated in 1997. I'm certain it was started because of money. Thank you, Capt Obvious. And I'm posting this knowing how successful the SOX have been in interleague games.
  18. I guess I'll go watch Jimmy Kimmel on youtube.
  19. 3.5 hours of non-stop action. Beat that NETFLIX. I believe that was the SOX 23rd come from behinder.
  20. Based on what was left available in the SOX pen, I've got no problem using Barnes in a non-save situation.
  21. You're right, I need stronger glasses.
  22. Oh, wait. I believe it's Kik'e. My bad. From now on I'm going with K-Hern. Screw it.
  23. Nope. That's how he spells his name. Check it out and get back to me.
