Lots of poop outs in this game.
-
Ohtani is treating MLB like it was Little League, except his father isn't the manager.
-
It'll be difficult to get into the A's BP at this rate.
-
I was wondering how soon before this qualified as a 'come from behind?'
-
Is it Brooks Devers or Rafi Robinson?
-
Last two times Kike has caught the ball it's been a catchem throwem out DP.
-
Potential, imho, is a meaningless word.

Surprisingly, the Mets are leading the Yankems 8-3 going into the bottom of the 8th. The surprise isn't that they're beating the Yankems; the surprise is they actually scored 8 runs. The Mets offense is, to put it kindly, weak. Included in today's Yankem line-up are 'muscle bound' Stanton, followed by 'muscle head' Voit, and bringing up the rear 'penis head' Gardner.

I will. Thanks.

Well thought out post, MAX.

I haven't heard this mentioned concerning the foreign substance rule effecting ML pitchers. I can't prove this but from a common sense point of view I would think pitchers with larger hands would be less effected by this rule. Pedro had exceptionally long fingers and it definitely effected his movement on pitches.

Didn't know that. So some Saturday night down the line there's a good chance I'll be screwed by FOX.
-
And the one hit that E-rod gave up was the run-saving gem by X-man in the 2nd inning. That, imho, made up for X-man's poor at-bats.
-
I noticed that there are 3 games starting at 7:15 tonight all being televised by FOX. Living here in central NY I just checked my TV listings and fortunately I will be getting the SOX game. I was under the impression that FOX had set up the schedule so that only one game would be played on Saturday nights. People like myself who paid good money for the MLB Extra Innings package will be blocked out in CNY if they were planning on watching either the Dodgers/Nats game or the Astros/ Guardians game. FOX definitely screwed them.
-
Sounds like you and Thunder have given the betting term over/under a whole new meaning.
-
Actually later today, not tomorrow.
-
Wasn't Lowrie on the '78 SOX? Seems like he's been around forever.
-
MVP78 going for 9 in a row tomorrow to tie MAX's 9 in a row back in April.
-
I willing to hazard a guess that Kike has the strongest throwing arm of any 2nd baseman in MLB.
-
Excellent start by E-rod and some great defense by the SOX. Kike was the #2 star tonight.
-
Great throw by Kike!
-
Similar to hockey.
-
How big now was that defensive play by X-man in the 2nd?
-
Typical SOX west coast game. Very seldom are the wins easy, no matter who they play.
-
Thanks. Btw, I'm still convinced the next new rule will be 4 fouls and you're out.
