Hopefully, Cora is reconsidering taking Johnson out for PomPom. Right now Pomeranz is worth next to nothing on the trade market, would be wasting precious oxygen in our bullpen and wasting bullpen innings if he starts. DFA material.

A pretty solid move for Dealin' Dave with what he had to offer. This could go either way but I'm guessing there is more of a chance Eovaldi turns in a solid three month run motivated by his ability to showcase his stuff for free agency on a much bigger stage.

It looks like Rob Manfred has taken his cue from the Starbucks CEO and is directing Josh Hader to undergo sensitivity training for something he tweeted seven years ago. The "progressive" Manfred, who also wants to tell managers where to position their players and how many relievers they are allowed to use, is making sure their is no "feigned outrage" from the Adam Jones' of MLB. What next Rob? Will you follow the lead of the "progressive" Starbucks and allow homeless "entrepreneurs" to loiter on the concourses, outfields, and dugouts of MLB teams. Why not cancel all games for a day and make it mandatory for everybody.
