  1. LOL I think Cashman will go hard after Santana. By the way, good look trying to unload those guys (the same luck we need to trade Ellsbury)
  2. I agree he won't get us a "can't miss" prospects but he has a lot of value, he batted .300 and he's only 27, by the way, his contract by today standards is team friendly (3/38M + a team option). I'm sure there will be more than one team interested in his services. I don't think he finishes his contract in NY, Torres and Andujar are coming to the Bronx in 2018 and they have a chance to be better than him (certainly have more potential, specially Torres)
  3. He will be traded for sure, but I don't see Cashman dealing him this winter. In the other hand if he's offered something he can't refuse, he will be gone; I don't think he trades him for prospects unless is a "can't miss" prospect.
  4. It will obviously have some effect on salaries, but that 6th spot in the rotation should not been anywhere close to the current salaries for a 4th/5th SP, that extra spot should be something close (salary wise) to a current long man, spot starter or a rookie.
  5. If they trade him this offseason they will be selling very low on him, don't think he's as good as he was in 2015 but is not anywhere near to the 2017 version, I guess his performance should be something in between 2015 and 2016
  6. Agree, I think Castro will be traded within a year. I think he's the insurance in case something goes wrong with Andujar and/or Torres
  7. I don't expect a trade to NYY for Stanton, I don't think they will be paying the price Miami will be asking for, have the pieces but I doubt Cashman will surrender a haul of prospects from him. If he gets to NYY will be just like a salary dump (which is not going to happen) Miami is counting in this trade to start rebuilding the farm.
  8. By the way, Rutherford was the center piece in the deal with the White Sox which gave us Kahnle, Robertson and T Frazier
  9. Future is bright my friend!!! I'm really excited about Florial, if he's able to fix his swing, he will be aforce
  10. The Yankees Win Let's see if we can get to Verlander on Friday
  11. Amazing start by Tanaka
  12. They have the momentum, but still a long way to go, specially against a team like Houston
  13. Not yet, this game is far from over and they have Verlander for Friday
  14. Tanaka is dealing
  15. Please don't put that guy in a sentence next to my Yankees I'll reserve my political opinion
  16. let's just win tomorrow and get ready for Friday
  17. Series moment just changed
  18. I can't believe it
  19. You want rough??/ look at Castro and Romine, it's a miracle we are back in the game
  20. Damn, Castro and Romine really hurting us tonight
  21. We are back in the game
  22. I thought you were kidding, I just looked it up - Holy s***
  23. Yep, certainly the money is helping The author compares him with Trout, but I think your comparison with Baldelli is probably better
  24. I don't know about that, he bought a house in CT and I believe he's happy with the Yankees If not I think the Giants are a good fit and he likes the NL
  25. I was in the fence too, but after this postseason I want him back, I don't think he will be really expensive and it works as insurance in the case Tanaka opts-out of his deal. Somehow I'm not really optimistic Otani will end up in the Bronx this offseason, in fact I'm not sure he will be posted.
