    Beni , was brought up because he was tearing it up down there. Brentz stinks. Young won't be back until September. He hasn't even begun a rehab stint yet. Holt has to play his all around role not just LF. DD said he would promote players right through, skipping triple A... When he could not pull off a deal for the LF he wanted, who ever that was , they called Beni. His fielding needs work, Keep in mind he played CF. It will take time, he's 22. Just a moment back in time, Mookie was a second baseman, Now he's a very good RF, and in the running for the MVP. Yoan Moncada will go through it as well at 3B next year in April. I'm trying my best . I'm new to the board. lol

    It's a code. You don't throw over , unless you have to. It's the understanding the pitchers have with each other. No written rule. They know the deal.

    Having Wright pinch run was dumb. He is the second best pitcher on the staff behind Porcello, It doesn't matter if it was a fluke, he got injured. I'm sure he will have to be given the shot to pitch now. If you are going to have a pitcher run , why not Pomaranz, He's pitched in the NL. He would have been a better choice.

    O's play great baseball at home. Won't matter they will be beat.

    I like Encarnacion, he's a great hitter. I don't want to be tied down to him for that much time. I would take a chance on Beltran on a one year deal maybe with a club opp. IMO Castillo AND Craig are lost causes. Z won't be coming back . I think he said he was going back to the D-backs, so I don't think you have to worry about that. With Koji and Z moving on, maybe Taz, you need to get bullpen help. Would you take a shot on David Robertson. (2 years 24 M left). Just him. Not Sale, Not Q.. lol. Do not want to see them move any BLUE CHIP PROSPECTS. The second level , yes.

    I would have pinched hit with Leon. Even with Beni and Pedey up after. My reason Leon is hitting close to 360. So I think he has a better chance of making contact. They had Holt as well. I agree Holiday was calling a great game. But Kimbrel was coming into the game. How many times has he caught Kimbrel. He's been here for what ten days. My overall point is I would take the chance of trying to exstend the lead by 2 or 3, instead of leaving holiday in there and Kimbrel with a one run lead. Even though Beni and Pedy didn't come through. What do I know , I would have had Shaw try to bunt at least on the first pitch, then send Leon up. It worked. They won. Just a thought?
