Well since he's hitting 3 rd. I hope his mindset is starting to swing for the fence mode, I would have left him in the leadoff spot. But i am not the manager.

Well I don't know you. I was brought up on the Boston.Com board, so I posted stuff about the Pats, Bruins, but the place shut down. I wanted to post on pro boards but I didn't know they had a redsox site, because I only go on there for pats. I then wanted to post Sox I've followed them all my life. It was SOSH or this. I then looked at this board and saw Moon and JBAY. I don't agree with Moon on the TB stuff, but his baseball points are rock solid. I looked for sox boards and found this. My friends said use a new name . I was the Stinkman, but since WB got his number retired and is one of my all time fav Sox players I used his name. So like I said if you hate CB, who cares. But your going to need him tonight. I'm going to the game on Sunday, 2-0 sounds better than 1-1. Right?

He's IMO a 6/7 bridge man to give the up and down Taz some rest. If Wright can't pitch Thursday against DET, and they leave CB in the rotation, he's worth a look. What does this say about Joe Kelly. On a side note ,they say CB is on a estimated 75 pitch count tonight.

I was listening to sports radio a little while ago. Rob Bradford says the Redsox are his number 1 choice. But do they want him... 50/50.

This year that may work. If it was me ... I always like speed on top. I would IMO like to put pressure on the opposing pitcher to keep throwing over to first, put pressure on the infielders to hurry up throws ,and have my #2 hitter get fastballs to hit. I want to go to first to third on a close single , or first to home on a gap double. Pitching slumps. Hitting slumps. Speed doesn't.

I hope he has some power next year in the DH role, unless they snag Beltran. He plays when he's feels like it.

I get it. What about not knowing the count, the other night and sending Bradley to run on 3-2 when it was 2-2, and the umps corrected it.

I would not call it hindsight. Farrell went with his gut to bring in Z to face 4 lefties, when lefties hit him better than righties. Plus didn't Kimbrel (Knee) have a tough time closing the other night and was lifted for Barnes. I would have stayed away from using Kimbrel, only would have used Z depending on matchups the rest of the way. Most for the 9th. When your bullpen is suspect you want to stretch out the starters as much as you can.

If Pomeranz is throwing 110-115 pitches and only going 5 innings 6 tops, He's a 5 starter behind Price, Porcello, Wright, Erod( if he is throwing like he is now). Nothing more to address. They traded the #1 pitching prospect for him. I don't care that they traded him, but I thought they could have packaged him an got a Porcello type pitcher. I like Pomeranz but no way his ERA stays under 3.50 in the AL, let alone pitching in the AL EAST.. no way...

If people are worried about Lovullo being the manager, why did DD give him a contract ex. To keep him away from Atlanta? Next in line? He's making great $$$ being the bench coach.
