Just get ready for the talk he's in great shape. That stuff will come a month before spring training. I just can't see them moving that contract. But DD when he was in DET moved Prince so you never know.

Buchholz needs a copy of his last start. I'm a little worried of a setback from him tonight. If they can steal this game it wood be good, with Porcello and Pomeranz up next you can have thoughts of a sweep.

Farrell said he may give Bradley a day here and there against a LHP..try to keep everybody fresh. The player that could use the rest is XB. He's been out to lunch of late.

He's been missed until Beni got called up. He's been missed as a pinch hitter off the bench. But missed against LHP the most.

Hanigan is close to going on a rehab assignment, I thought they would wait until they expand on 9/1. Haladay hasn't been that bad handling the staff from a naked eye. Whatever works I guess. I know it's about the 40man I get it.

Joe Kelly, they will try to stretch him out to go at least 5 innings. If he can do it. I don't know if they want to bring a young kid up right now. Joe Kelly has the stuff, but has a ten cent brain. But might be the pick. He might be decent for two starts, then will shat the bed and become what he is.

John Henry talked about having a 3 man booth in the near future.. I think it was in the Sunday Boston Herald or today's herald. He likes all the of them.

I do agree, but with the Jays playing the Angels and Twins this week at home, the sox playing the Rays on the road and a hot KC team , they need 3 out of 4. It's just so tough to win on the road in any sport. Can they catch fire from this point on.... will see

This would not be the first time their has been some communication problems between Manager/ Player. Example .. Wright went from being pushed back to start , to being DL-ed, to pitching against the Tigers. To now will be more than likely to pitch against Kansas City. This stuff happens. It shouldn't ,but does. Curt Schilling was a great pitcher, but don't take anything he says as gospel. .. Things have changed from ten years ago. What you saw with pitchers like Pedro, Schilling, R.Johnson, Maddux, And all the other great ones is not going to happen. I hate it as much as you do, but it's reality. I know what Schilling said between 6 AM- 10AM. Gerry Callahan got on Erod as well. I text the morning show all the time. They never respond, I don't blame them.. I wish I could show you the texts but I can't lol.

You make all valid points. The problem if you look at it the other way, if Erod decides to pitch and gets injured , goes on the DL stint or longer, you have Owens or some other just another guy comes up and pitches in that spot.
