    Let's try to get Buchholz through an inning at a time. He's pitching good. Our offense is hand- cuffed. Don't tell me Tomlin will pitch good for five innings until he gets lifted.

    I like JBJ. With saying that if I could get Sale for him and get that low cost contract with it, I'm doing it. They could move Benintendi over to CF, you could always find a player with Chris Young to platoon in left. I agree you are correct CF's that hit over 25 home runs don't fall off trees. I also think ACE's that win 18 games and have a low three ERA don't fall off trees. The only problem is here we go again. It will take more than JBJ to get Sale. They will have to give other prospects up. But JBJ could be a center -piece of it, without giving up Moncada. The White Sox did ask for JBJ but not striaght up for Sale. They would never do that. No chance.

    Some interesting notes from Farrell. Let's get ahead of ourselves . We shouldn't but we will. If they play a Game 4 , Porcello will start it. That's that. If they play a Game 5 , Erod could start it. David Price is being used out of the bullpen for games 3&4. But if Buchholz struggles of course Pomeranz will be the long man today. None of the above is probably not that interesting, but I thought I say it anyway.

    Buchholz has pitched good in the playoffs. He keeps the team in the game. He has the stuff to keep them off balance. Sometimes being a little wild is a good thing. He pitched game 4 of the WS injured and kept them in the game. Besides that game against Toronto that they still won , he has been good.

    So by going with that logic do they bench Bogaerts ... Play Shaw at third and Holt at shortstop. Do you want to lose defense in CF. He's hitting 9 th.

    This has nothing to do with Manager. Nothing.. This has nothing to do with last week. This has very little to do with home field advantage.. Starting pitching. Porcello and Price between them have I think 1 post season win. When you play these short series anything can happen. Cleveland bullpen and Kluber have pitched lights out. One a side note if this series goes five games and Porcello goes on three days rest, do you trust Price for game five. They have no choice.

    Nomar, did deserve it. He sulked in Yankee stadium and refused to get in the game. He wasn't the same player anymore. He was bitter because he turned down a 4 year contract for about 60M. He thought he can get more from them. He went back to them and said is the offer still on the table, Henry and company said..... NO......He wasn't the same here since. All they did was kiss his ass over and over. They blocked him from the media and he was still unhappy. He didn't like it here. He wanted to play for the Dodgers or Angels. He didn't like the press here. The man they treated unfairly was Manny. I'm talking on the baseball field not off it. The year Hanley Ramirez is having , That would be an off year for Manny back in the day. Trust me on that one. lol

    I thought he lost the clubhouse that year. Now with saying that, I would have not fired him. I would have not let Theo go as well. Beckett was the bad seed. Lackey and Lester where followers. One top of it replacing him with Bobby V was one more mistake to the list.

    That would be the strength of Cleveland. That is the only way they can win this series. The key was Porcello more I thought. I didn't think they had great discipline at the plate, but the Cleveland bullpen was great. Hopefully that doesn't continue. That's why todays game might be the whole series in a nutshell. I didn't think he go to Miller that early. I guessed wrong. The next thing moving forward will be 1. Is Kluber healthy or is it all BS talk. 2. Is Price up to the pressure for today. 3. Will the Red Sox hit WRISP
