    Lets see how bad Chavis plays 3rd that all the experts here say he plays, when I saw him in the Minors, he was very good.

    Dodgers got 2 hit last night and almost won. This is team that's tough. Young, Great Pitching, and they can grind. Last years loss to the Sox helped them this year.

    Disagree, the longer you wait for a Positional Player, the worse the returns or not what should be expected. Pitcher different. Especially Rental.

    Your 100% correct though, you have to hope 2 teams lose simultaneously, while we win. Last night both won and we won, 1 less game in schedule. That's why losses with less games to play are killers.

    Plus Tampa has easier schedule then us. They play only 17 games with teams over .500, we play 21.

    I just think Mookie is going the Free Agent way, if that's the case, you need JBJ. If other way around and the Sox blow Mookie away, JBJ is odd man out. I think it starts with 8 years for 280 million for Mookie. He's looking for huge payday. 35 million per year. Smart move is work with JBJ and Boras, and get what you can for Mookie. Keep the phones working all off season.

    Of course but they are not sitting Gurriel that's for sure hottest hitter in the Majors at the moment. Last 30 days hitting .368, think he got 8 RBI's. last night.

    Wait till Play-off on the Yanks, you need Pitching, Houston, and Dodgers have better Pitching. And they can hit with the Yanks.

    Rays are on a 92 wins pace. Sox have to go 31-14 rest of way to reach this. I feel 90 at least. Sox need to go 29-16 for this.

    Guardians 1 game behind the Twins, with 3 more games head-to-head, this weekend. Wish Sunday nights game on ESPN was this. Giants vs. Phillies. OH BoY!

    I agree, but don't expect Top Prospects back. That's all, just have to hope you Scout other team and hope you hit a winner. If it was an elite Pitcher, then the philosophy changes. Yanks, with Chapman, and Miller with the Guardians. This year Grienke. Us with E-Rod. Pitching is highly valued, for returns.

    The Sox have to sign him now, and as he gets older, will be harder to Trade him. Plus he'll have 10-5 rights. Age and Contract, wil make it tougher. Might as well make him a Red Sox for his career now.

    I know it sucks, but the time to Trade Mookie was this past Deadline. So a team had him this year for a Pennant Run, and next year to see if they could work out extension. Would have gotten the best results back. We gambled we would make a run, and it didn't work. Maybe get something decent in Off-Season.

    Double AA 2 years ago, still in Double AA, just different organization. He'll be 23 in Oct. Maybe?

    So how about JD Martinez trade? About the same, again nothing special. Point is longer you wait the less you'll get. Why would a team give their best Prospects for a Rental, especially Pitching. You'll get something, but you'll wait to see if it mattered.

    Orioles got all gambles that would never help the Dodgers in the future. Funny thing the only guy in the Trade that made the Majors is on the Yankees. Breyvic Valera. haha

    Lets see what happens after the Yanks play Guardians, A's, and Dodgers, in a row for 10 games.

    You got to look at Tampa, it can be done. And we still have the resources, to sign and not overspend, to the point where it, handcuffs you for years. Like this year. I look at the Dodgers, and boy they did it right, they went way, way over the Luxury Tax, in the mean time they developed, now that whole team just about is Prospects. And more in the system. Hill, maybe another but that's about it. Tampa old GM. They should be a Powerhouse for a few years. FA's helps, but don't go into Off-Season as that is only plan. Time to get rid of GM then, anybody can sign and Pay.

    FA's is suppose to be a tool, to help a Team building process. Usually the smart GM's sign a FA to give them time to develop at that position. Because your weak at the Major League level currently, at that position.

    I know trying to prove a point. 2 Best FA ever, and that's it, Manny, and Damon. And I'll give you JD, Price for what you paid should have more. Josh Beckett, was better. Most good teams are built through good Trades, and Young Talent. FA's help, but if that's what you have to rely on to win, then your in trouble in the long run.
