I keep looking at Vazquez as the best asset we have to move to try to get some very good Prospects or close to Major Leagues, especially for Pitching back.

I don't think we will get the Prospects everybody expects for Trading Mookie in Off-Season. I would work now, to keep him. Look in other areas for Players to move.

I have my doubts about Cora, next year, will be a real good evaluation on him. He went from perfect, to just about a 180 turn around, good chance 20 less wins, so not so sure about him anymore. Consistency tells me more, about Managing.

What I don't understand is Dombrowski, (who I doubt), took JD Martinez off waivers from Houston, but he doesn't take chances with us. Especially for cheap, prove me deals for Pitching. Sometimes you go to another club and different eyes and Coaching MIGHT turn the player around. Darwinzon went to Pawtucket for a while and he cut down his walk rate. If it don't work so be it, move on to the next project. The point is you have try by putting in more bullets in the chamber, they might shoot blanks, but some might actually fire. In Pawtucket they are all blanks and we already know it.

Getting to the point where winning series are not good enough. The Sox need a long winning streak to jump back in it. They won 2, they need 8 more in a row, then maybe have a chance.

Sox have to be within 4 games when they play the Rays at least, and hope the A's struggle too.

Sox have 15 games left against serious legit Play-off teams, Rays have 12 (I'm counting the Sox in this, 4 games in Sept). A's have 14.

Crazy Sox have to play a make-up game with KC, then fly out to San Diego same day, play next night, nothing is going right it seems.

Was our highpoint this season is 11 games over .500, maybe 12, but I know not more then that.

Rays go 20-20, Sox have to go 27-9 to tie them. My mistake 27-12 to tie Rays.

What you want to do is hire the Scouts from Tampa, they are the backbone to teams. And Pay them. Me I would be stealing Scouts from the Yanks, Dodgers, Rays, Astros, and crazy as this sounds the Tigers. They have built a strong Minor League system especially in Pitching since Dombrowski left.

Mozeliak sent the Astros their GM, I am wondering if that was the guy to get. I think he might be better. I would really look at the Astros. Wonder if that was the reason the Cards Bugged the Astros, knowing how good Luhnow is.

Cardinals too, and now Astros I would look at. You also have to look at Dodgers and their staff too. Dodgers are the best at both International and Local at finding good Prospects.

Both the Yanks and Dodgers are on a 107 win pace. Yanks are done with the Orioles, and next 10 games the Yanks play some teams. Guardians, A's, and Dodgers.

34 games in 34 days did this team in. Just didn't have the Pitching, especially in the Farm to help out the Major League club. We were going to need them, nobody goes that many games without some help from the Farm. Sox will have same problem again next year, and good chance year after that.

Does it matter? 41 games left, very little chance at any Play-off spot. Sox goal should be 88 wins, and call it a season. At least stay over .500.

Agree, Friedman wants to keep those Prospects. They will just wait him out if they want him as a FA. They have a good chance at 108 wins too this year, with kids. That whole line-up is Prospects except, Turner and Pollock. Not counting Pitching staff. They will be a force a long time. Last year they got Machado because Seager got hurt, and really didn't give up a bunch. Seager is back, they will wait if they want Betts, and they will loads of cash to spend, if they want him.

Just like losing family. I am sorry for your lost too. I've been there twice. I was lucky, cant own another, it hurts too much.
