Just say (and this wont happen), but the Marlins weakest position in the Minors is Catcher, Yanks offer Sanchez, and say Acevedo, and Green, for Stanton, we got nothing to match that. JBJ and Bogaerts aren't game changers. Pitchers in the Minors don't match the talent going back to the Marlins. Look at other areas, Martinez, and still say Notin's Trade for Abreu is fantastic.

When and if Stanton goes on the block, it will be an auction. Jeter is not stupid. He's going for the best Minor Leaguers there is. Teams with the most depth. And Team controlled up and coming stars. It going to cost a lot. Haven't seen a proposal here that would make me think Jeter would say this will put our franchise in contention within 2 years. Even 3. Jeter hired Gary Denbo to restructure their Minors, this guy is good, he helped the Yankees last 8 years build their Minors. Trades of the Relievers helped them, but this guy really was good in the International Scouting and Drafting. Yankees have the 2nd ranked Farm that I saw, and it wasn't all because of the Trades. Their Double AA and A Teams have impressive arms, that this guy knows about. Yanks get in on this I think were out, and if they were smart instead of paying Harper 40 million, they can get Stanton a hell of a lot cheaper. Bogaerts this Off-Season is not a Center Piece in any Trade. You have to add, and you might add more than you want. Keep him hope he bounces back, and do a Nomar on him, if Stanton is available.

How do you know? Evaluators in the Minors thought he could handle 3rd, don't you think if he didn't have the tools there, they would have moved him, while in the Minors.

You add JD and Abreu this line-up is now scary. JD in Left, Abreu 1st base. 200 RBI's + 60+ Hrs, plus good average. I am not counting 81 games in Fenway, just a estimate.

I think we need more than just JD. I would sign him too.

Looking at the CF's in the Play-offs there are 2 that really stand out, Springer, and Chris Taylor, probably JBJ next. Francona put Kipnis in CF and he has not played CF since College. The common thing, is Defense is huge at CF, if you have Power batting around them. Then it works. Keep JBJ then you must move Benni, or Betts. To get Production we need. Devers is next. Subtraction by Addition. JBJ is the one that makes addition by subtraction to me. You have other CF's that's why. Sucks but that might be the case.

Like JBJ but he's on the block for me. We have 3 CF's on this team now. Need Offense.

I really like Notin's idea of Abreu, White Sox looking to get younger he might be had if right Chips are used. Like to see proposal here from the Forum. Make it reasonable. He might not cost as much as Stanton, and he really is a run producer, a lot cheaper. Abreu is a unreal bat nobody knows about. Underrated Only 16 games in Fenway but he has a .354 .avg there.
