The pace of E-Rod, and the focus he was at last night, if continues, makes him dangerous....to hitters. Liked that he showed emotion about not finishing the inning. I want a fighter on the Mound. Good stuff.

If you want to count the Catcher who had 133 at bats, fine. But the original Starting line-up didn't have a hitter, hitting over .249 What that tells me, what Pomeranz did is not impressive, reason hard to gage against a weak hitting team, but Thornburg's ineffectiveness is more concerning. This is easier to gage, because he shouldn't have problems like he's having against weak hitting team.

3 Lefties in a row in the Play-offs. I know we had Hurst, Ojeda, and Tudor once. But I think only Hurst was left in 86. Ojeda was with the Mets, and Tudor with the Cards. Me I would go with Sale, Rick P, then Price, and E-Rod. Just to break it up a bit. I don't like it when Price follows Sale.
