You dealt away some good young talent for Thornburg, he's been here long enough to start paying dividends back. He's not, too inconsistent. He should have taken over the 8th inning role by this time. You better have a concern with this BP, when facing the real good teams in the Play-offs. Red Sox Achilles heal.

Next Off season for the Sox is going to be a doozzy, that's all I know. Sale, Porcello, Bogey, Nunez if he comes back. Plus your going to be paying more to Betts, Benni, JBJ. JD can Opt out. Better get it done this or next year.

Agree, we get him for one more year, then he becomes a FA. That I'm sure Boras is going to shop. Another good year, plus maybe a WS thrown in there, Sox going to have a hard time resigning, at his age. They could of course, but he'll get paid for sure.
