  1. Outstanding post! You did some homework I believe Bloom should be fired but I will give him the next 2 weeks to make up for his incompetence by rebuilding and looking towards 23 Sell mode should be on the table here at the deadline to move forward towards 2023 Bello JW Groome should all get looks in the Rotation going forward Casas definitely at 1B
  2. Ownership is to blame but like I said the bigger problem is Orlando Zero return on Betts AB Renfro If AB trade was about money why would you deal renfro and acquire a bad contract in JBJ? Zero sense Story ? Career .200 hitter after 8th inning and with RISP, u had Arroyo plus zero average vs 95 mph pitching No Closer ? Jansen should have been target over Story Paxson ? Cash tied up with an injured pitcher that money could have gone towards Jansen or elsewhere Needed a 1B but I’ll give him a pass here since Casas was injured By all reports Duran could have been traded for Berrios Incompetence and terrible Roster management have gotten you here
  3. I see you pink hats are finally coming around with 59 saying Dalbec should have been traded and others questioning Orlando’s moves. The bigger problem at the moment within Redsox Nation is crystal clear, Ownership is to blame. Ownership is a roller coaster. They run the Team for a few years like drunken sailors handing out contracts to stiffs. A few years later they shift philosophy back to the minor league development system with so called budget constraints Despite the roller coaster ride and Henry’s questionable statements on such they always had a competent GM who could ride the Coaster to success. Not every GM since 03 was perfect, each made their fair share of mistakes but the Team always succeeded even after down years. Epstein 2 titles arguably should have won a third if it wasn’t for a Hot David Price. Cherington who was a pretty good scouting and development guy and of course DD who built one of the Best MLB Teams in recent history in 18 Now Gentlemen and Ladies, Henry switches philosophy and He doesn’t have the GM to keep the train rolling Bloom has successfully blown this Team up with his incompetent Roster Management and questionable trades that have brought back zero return I’ll quote the “greatest manager”in Sox history Terry Francona “good luck with that “
  4. Like I told you pink hats Duran provides a much needed spark as a lead-off hitter! When Hernandez returns Duran should move to everyday RF and jettison whichever Beer leaguer is hitting below .200 and there’s plenty If Bloom fails with the above then you know what type of GM you got The Dalbec experiment needs to end and end quick. Despite the dreadful offense the Defense is now becoming a liability DFA this stooge When they acquire JBell let me know
  5. I’ll give credit where credit is due. It’s been a very good turn around and looking more like the “21” sox than the 20 version Pitching is still an issue Bloom is still an issue Mind boggling that Hernandez goes on the IR and Duran isn’t on the Roster makes zero sense
  6. “Your a Legend in your own mind” Skanks have the biggest weakness of all the playoff teams at the moment Boone
  7. You nailed it Clint Eastwood! You F###in nailed it Once in a lifetime Player is shown the door but hey, we got Story for 6 and 120, priceless! Let’s not forget JDowns and to all you pink hats who don’t want to look up Story’s average vs 95 mph pitching because it doesn’t fit an argument It’s .000 Priceless!
  8. Lol Downs is 24 hitting below .200 in a beer leaguer League Keep posting pinkhat you’ll get one right sooner or later
  9. Much like Barnes hey Pinkhat! When Bloom read the scouting reports before the Betts deal he must have closed his eyes
  10. Research Story’s batting average vs 95 mph pitching? Then ask yourself this ? 20 million for Story over 6 or Jansen for 1 year
  11. Betts OPS .1000 Projected 40 HR's Clint Eastwood on this Forum said it best "Once in a Generation Talent" Verdugo .633 Downs Bust Wong Bust Grateral - Who looked at the Medicals for Bloom, Mickey Mouse? Maeda - Minus Betts, Minnesota got the best player in the Deal and that ain't saying much It's hard to believe 10 years 350 wouldn't have gotten it done Contract ends age 36, Priceless Mentioning Price, You could have easily dealt a Top prospect with the player to rid just as much contract cash AB Betts Renfro Kiki 2B Wow imagine the possibilities?
  12. Promising? Where is the Promise? Minor League Developmental system needs an overhaul, WHY isn't there more discussion about that. Currently Hauck (homegrown) is the only Pitcher with any promise and they don't know how to use him? I said it before Blooms first order of business should have been Re-vamping the Minor League System and rid himself of Crockett Abraham and a few other swinging d!cks who collect a check
  13. You just answered your own ? Whitlock unprotected A Starting ML Regular in LF and a Champion, Arb eligible for 6 to 7 million in 21, currently with an 800 ops traded for Garbage Prospects! There is a big difference my friend Thats Okay, Bloom the bust needs supporters like u to keep his job..
  14. My Complaint is not with the Player in Winkowski. My complaint is the return on the TRADE that brought Winkowski and Others to Boston. When you trade a Major League Regular in Benintendi you better get more than a Projected back end of the rotation starter or a potential middle reliever. Bloom is a bust and so isn't this Pitcher
  15. Hard to tell? Smell the Coffee 59 The above prospects you list are all way to old for the level there playing at or flat out bust Seabold should have been given the opportunity last season at all cost Mayer fell in their lap. Arguably the best hitter in the Class but as you know Drafting is a shot in the dark but I'll give credit where credit is due Right now if you have Faith in Bloom to begin trading XB JD or any other pieces for a high return, your delusional
  16. Read the recent Scouting reports. The Player is a junk baller His fastball was non existant in AA and was the first start. At 6 4 you should be throwing gas Beer Leaguer and those are the facts and the facts are undisputed
  17. Spoken like Scholar! Funny that the Henry Group threw millions of dollars around for players who were not homegrown ( sandoval renteria to name a few) but yet, they will not spend on homegrown talent (see Lester) or have the patience to wait on drafted players such as Chavis and AB I understand you don't extend a 28 year old player to a 10 year deal, "I get it", its bad business. Far as XB goes there is no reason not to start at 4 -120 ? The player is in his Prime and still should be at age 34, if the Player wants more than that, let him walk! This is why Henry should have put the emphasis on revamping the MINOR LEAGUE DEVELOPMENTAL SYSTEM before he made any GM hire the last go around. As an Organization going forward with the absurd contracts YOU MUST identify the Prospects in your system you deem to have Elite talent. Buy out the ARB years and get these Players signed in thier Prime before the big-shot Agents make it unwilling to do so. The biggest problem Henry has right now is Bloom! The Minor League Developmental System is a Train wreck being run by BCrockett. They have not developed any Pitchers to speak of and the hitters they do develop continue to circle the bowl in the case of Casas and Duran without a call-up due partly to Bloom signing every swinging d!ck off the waiver wire. Bloom's First order of Business should have been the above. New Minor League Leadership New Minor League Scouts New Minor League voices! This is Exactly what Epstein did in 2003! Now you have Bloom making Questionable trades and signings in part because of the System he did not re-organize. Bloom has failed in all aspects but in retrospect its Henry who just might be the Failure here? Now the talk of trading elite players for what, another low A prospect, another 24 year old Hitter or Pitcher assigned to High A ? If they signed Jansen to the 20 they handed out to a Coors field hitter your at the moment a Playoff Team! Thanks John for the mess you made yet again!
  18. How about the 6 4 prospect on the mound today vs Baltimore 70 pitches in 3 innings was a fine effort by the young man Keep on trading Orlando, “you ain’t made a bad move yet”
  19. Signs of life for you pink hats! Still a long long ways to go.. Nice to see Orlando swinging for the fences with a Long Island Ducks signing Casas out Dalbec’s been out all season Josh Bell rumors heating up, make the call!
  20. Typical pink hat response I didn't say he was Boggs and neither did the other post. The other post simply stated he had boggs type numbers... Thats Ok, now go get your shine box
  21. Finally a poster who gets it right
