  1. Hard to tell? Smell the Coffee 59 The above prospects you list are all way to old for the level there playing at or flat out bust Seabold should have been given the opportunity last season at all cost Mayer fell in their lap. Arguably the best hitter in the Class but as you know Drafting is a shot in the dark but I'll give credit where credit is due Right now if you have Faith in Bloom to begin trading XB JD or any other pieces for a high return, your delusional
  2. Read the recent Scouting reports. The Player is a junk baller His fastball was non existant in AA and was the first start. At 6 4 you should be throwing gas Beer Leaguer and those are the facts and the facts are undisputed
  3. Spoken like Scholar! Funny that the Henry Group threw millions of dollars around for players who were not homegrown ( sandoval renteria to name a few) but yet, they will not spend on homegrown talent (see Lester) or have the patience to wait on drafted players such as Chavis and AB I understand you don't extend a 28 year old player to a 10 year deal, "I get it", its bad business. Far as XB goes there is no reason not to start at 4 -120 ? The player is in his Prime and still should be at age 34, if the Player wants more than that, let him walk! This is why Henry should have put the emphasis on revamping the MINOR LEAGUE DEVELOPMENTAL SYSTEM before he made any GM hire the last go around. As an Organization going forward with the absurd contracts YOU MUST identify the Prospects in your system you deem to have Elite talent. Buy out the ARB years and get these Players signed in thier Prime before the big-shot Agents make it unwilling to do so. The biggest problem Henry has right now is Bloom! The Minor League Developmental System is a Train wreck being run by BCrockett. They have not developed any Pitchers to speak of and the hitters they do develop continue to circle the bowl in the case of Casas and Duran without a call-up due partly to Bloom signing every swinging d!ck off the waiver wire. Bloom's First order of Business should have been the above. New Minor League Leadership New Minor League Scouts New Minor League voices! This is Exactly what Epstein did in 2003! Now you have Bloom making Questionable trades and signings in part because of the System he did not re-organize. Bloom has failed in all aspects but in retrospect its Henry who just might be the Failure here? Now the talk of trading elite players for what, another low A prospect, another 24 year old Hitter or Pitcher assigned to High A ? If they signed Jansen to the 20 they handed out to a Coors field hitter your at the moment a Playoff Team! Thanks John for the mess you made yet again!
  4. How about the 6 4 prospect on the mound today vs Baltimore 70 pitches in 3 innings was a fine effort by the young man Keep on trading Orlando, “you ain’t made a bad move yet”
  5. Signs of life for you pink hats! Still a long long ways to go.. Nice to see Orlando swinging for the fences with a Long Island Ducks signing Casas out Dalbec’s been out all season Josh Bell rumors heating up, make the call!
  6. Typical pink hat response I didn't say he was Boggs and neither did the other post. The other post simply stated he had boggs type numbers... Thats Ok, now go get your shine box
  7. Finally a poster who gets it right
  8. Ill bet your one of those fair weathered fans who if someone was p!ssing down your back and telling you it was raining you would believe them wouldnt you? But thats OK, Redsox Ownership needs fans like yourself to fill the seats without caring if the Team succeeds or not. Just do me one favor would you, next time when you call me names, make sure its "Mr." f#cking Moron.
  9. 59 I respect your passion but get a clue! If the Team didn't carry 17 pitchers they would have had another pinch hit option other than Vazquez to USE in that spot. Im not saying Vazquez was the wrong choice Im saying there is no roster flexibility when you carry that many Pitchers and especially when several Hitters are struggling. Do you comprehend what im saying? I'll give credit where credit is due. Seabold Pivetta deal was a good deal at the time. Workman was injury prone and Hembree flat out sucked. Far as AB, he was 24 due "what was it" 8 million that year he was traded. The Player was a good defensive OF in LF, homegrown and was a champion. Where is the Patience I heard preached by Bloom? Renfro replaced AB ? No he didn't, but in your world he did, so if thats the case, Renfro also traded which amounts to zero return for both players at the moment. A 25 yr old projected SP and a 3B prospect who is 23 in high A is not a good return for 2 Starting Calibor OF's. You could have had AB KH Renfro with Verdugo as your OF and thats pretty damn good. Now you have 2 OF's under performing with two prospects who were to old to be traded for in the first place. Brilliant Strategy
  10. Lol Another comment from the pink hat gallery Player is and was the perfect 2 hole hitter, he gets on base ! What part of that don’t you understand? But wait there’s always the possibility Cordero can hit a home run every 80 at bats
  11. Lol on the run time ! Your pink hat glasses have clouded your judgment It’s not about straight line speed it’s about quickness base running skill and base running ability ask Lou Brock! Dalbec is a beer leaguer no hitting ability oh but wait he has straight line speed! Lol Betts AB Chavis Renfro soon to be XB the list is long and distinguished like my Johnson Is Paxson in the rotation? Ok, I’ll check back later
  12. Dalbec one of the fastest guys on the Team, your joking right? Lol How many Pitchers in the bullpen now, 16? When you have to use your backup catcher for the day to pinch hit speaks volume but I know looking through those pink hat glasses clouds your judgment No closer No bench No 1B production No RF production Meanwhile thanks to Orlando, AB in KC .329 815 - Chavis .321 829 And I’m the idiot ? Lol
  13. Roster management still a concern Lack of bench depth was evident today vs Seattle despite the win and sweep There is zero speed which could have been used twice in later innings to pinch run for Dalbec and Vazquez. Vazquez thrown out at home because of it Same said for lack of pinch hitters Just think, if Orlando used the Story money to sign Jansen as Closer in a perfect world your 25 16 a few back of Division lead It’s mind boggling how incompetent the Front Office has been
  14. Lol You have to admit it’s nice to see the training wheels off these starting pitchers? Let the starters pitch! There is no reason for pitch counts, how many times u face the lineup and all this analytical bullish!t. Let the men pitch
  15. Evoldi now JD, I have to ask 59 are you also for signing Hill to a 5 year extension at age 44? Smell the coffee my man. JD is 35, great hitter? Absolutely! The age much like evoldi schwarber and every other swinging d!ck does not warrant an extension or re-sign Just think for a second, the above walking to include price off books clears what, 53 million? There is your arbitration money and extend XB cash for 2023 Pennant race or no pennant race you trade those players for A level prospects at deadline to further bolster the System That is why it’s important NOW to see what you have in Seabold winkowski Groome Bello to include Casas and Duran You can compete and build for the future all at once Those are the facts and the facts are undisputed
  16. Hit the nail on the head about Story didn’t he! Garbage signing when Closer was a priority Jansen 8 saves 14IP 20k for 1yr 16mill Bloom is on roll maybe he’ll extend Barnes ? “Oh I forgot”
  17. Casas up yet? “Ok I’ll check back later”
  18. The Player will be 33 with an injury history a mile long Much like Schwarber you move on Save the cash for XB and Devers but with Orlando in charge don’t hold your breathe
  19. XB will be shown the door while Story book from Coors field collects 100 plus million Brilliant move ! Just Brilliant Meanwhile Scherzer in NY
  20. DFA Bloom who handed out the Barnes extension This ain’t in Cora How bout Bobby in the 9th hey 59 ? What’s that Who song “get fooled again” no bat speed in that AB hey my friend
  21. You have 15 pitchers in the roster and you run out a reliever who can’t pitch anymore? The third Stooge should have been traded 2 years ago Rumors have it Cora and Orlando not seeing eye to eye on Roster management Bye bye
  22. It was a garbage trade then and it’s a garbage trade now
