Its time to evaluate the Minor League Developmental System as a whole. Name the last #1 or #2 Starting Pitcher developed by the system not named Lester? You Can't. Same can be said for a high leverage reliever. I stated years ago the problem is Ben Crockett! He must go along with the entire scouting philosophy he directs. Until that happens your in Developmental Purgatory. Funny how Tampa continues to produce starting Pitching while most fans cannot name one let alone two SP's in their rotation as we speak. Crockett must go!

Season is a wash anyways with all the Virus restrictions. I'm sure some players do not want to play or their concentration is not all there and not to mention the civil unrest in the Nation. Set the sights on 2021 and Rocker! Barnes and Martinez need to be moved regardless of the return (dump the contracts), Pillar should get you a chip. Dombrowski handed out contracts like a drunken sailor and over paid in trades but was far from the problem. Until Henry Acknowledges that the Minor League Developmental System needs a complete overhaul the mad spending will continue because of it. Continue the house cleaning by getting rid of Ben Crockett and camera boy Abraham in the Minor League Front Office ! Call Billy in Oakland not named Beane for the GM position! Sandoval money off the books. Buy out Pedroia with his retirement get creative and there is your Betts money

You need a Reliever who is having a good season. Not a scrub or junkballer. Last nights loss proves the theory. Price done, Barnes in 6th Workman 7th Evoldi the 8th a pitcher like Yates or WSmith SF in 9th and you might have won that game? Dombrowski f###ed up in the off season and so far refuses to fix it by dealing the deadweight to offset the cash because the Team is cash strapped thanks to the drunken sailor spending. If a legit RP at reasonable cost is not brought in, Henry needs to show Dombo the door this off-season!

Dombrowski needs to get creative! Porcello for an A or B+ prospect or prospects add Groome or ERod and offer all to the Mets if Syndergaard is actually being discussed along with Wheeler I would sell high on MHernandez Duran and Dalbec while the pan is hot for a Reliever having a good year
