Meanwhile we're getting swept by one of worst hitting teams in AL.......Hey DD, I hope you're enjoying this with your pathetic manager. How's that for Realistic View at 2016?

4 game sweep by one of worst hitting teams in AL
-
Nice job by John F.....why is Robbie Ross Jr not pitching? Layne can't get anyone out....I hate JF....should never have brought him back. Horrible, horrible manager.
-
Is there a moderator on this board? PED stuff needs its own thread.....can you guys take it outside and duke it out?
-
Nice job by Koji and blowing the lead.......robbie ross jr meanwhile has pitched 2 1/3 innings in June....did Robbie make a pass at JF's girlfriend or something?
-
white hose are 13th in AL in BA.....we can't do anything right
-
Boston’s other touted minor leaguer, Andrew Benintendi, went 2 for 5 with an RBI double. Benintendi, who got off to a slow start when he arrived a month ago, is batting .366 (15 for 41) in his last 10 games, with three home runs, five doubles and 11 RBI...... Can we see a Benintendi/Young platoon in August?

I bet Sandy didn't take a lead on 3B this time
-
sandy getting respect.....

Robbie Ross Jr (designated HR catcher in the pen) was not ready for Hanley's homer....that tells you something lol
-
I take everything back, sorry Hanley
-
Well, you can only do so much with JUST fastball.......E Rod is a 5 inning guy until he develops a secondary pitch....
-
Let's go E Rod.....
-
good inning....E Rod
-
Walks the #8 hitter
-
Yep, it's right up there with hanley not even watching the pitcher as he walks back to 1B.
-
We need to win this....I hope JF is not concerned about starter completing 5 innings.....get the pen ready
-
Robbie Ross Jr has pitched 2 1/3 innings in June....he's rested.
-
Leg injury.....he had an ouchy
-
$20M groundball/seeing eye singles hitter.... so best attribute with Ben was that he was too confused to trade out young players? lol
-
No one in Sox organization can replace Ortiz......Hanley isn't the guy....he's got no power....$20M guy hitting singles. We'll need more pop in our offense. We've cleared cap space with Castillo's $10M and add that to Oriz' $16M, Luxury tax limit should go up. Signing a guy like Encarnacion will allow the Sox to figure out 1B/3B/C/LF positions going foward. We have a great start with Betts, Xander, Bradley and Pedy. SP issue will need to be addressed via a trade. WE WILL NEED TO GIVE UP SOME HIGH LEVEL MINOR LEAGUE GUYS TO GET THAT DONE.
-
Pedy freaking struck out...thats all there is to it.....infield drawn in....he choked.
-
Why would Red Sox not let him play in the minors? At the end of next few years another team can pick him up but his contract is attached as long as he is not released by the Sox. Sox have no incentive to release him. This was a move to save $3 million dollars in luxury tax. This one will sting for while.....part of Ben's legacy. Is it better to pay a proven veteran $210M over 7 years or unproven advanced aged player $70M? That is something Henry will have to ponder in the future. And to think we were few measly millions from acquiring Jose Abreau, ouch.

Our ace is on the mound tonight
