It's clear cut who should be playing if you go strictly by OPS....assuming Schwarber can play 1B. Vaz on the bench. Verdugo has the lowest OPS among the starting 9.

I don't see Bloom giving up a top farm guy for a rental. I think he intends to go after Schwarber. At worst he can DH and play LF. We have 40 some games to evaluate him. He's a natural hitter.

good recap BUT How long do we baby Whitlock? Tell me why he can't pitch 200 innings? He'll be 26, 3 years removed from TJ. Why do we baby these athletes? Get me a MAN. Tired of these wusses. And I'm the president of Whitlock fan club. Of course with average start of 5 IP they would need to start 40 games and that's not happening.

You're saying Rays have only had 5 starts of 7 IP or more? I guess they have great bullpen. Or is it 10 when you add in Glasnow? I'm little confused with(out all year). You mean he's now out for the year?
