Ans wasn't Bogaert's injury one that you said "could go on for a long time"? IIRC you said his injury could keep him out of action until September. Everything, that's everything. I've read say it'll probably be at least three weeks before Judge can even swing a bat and the residuals of this injury could take up to two months to recover from. Like you, I haven't seen the x-rays so I have to take the doctor's word for his recovery time.
With the Yankees being 5 1/2 back and Judge out for at least three weeks Cashman should be beating the bushes for a power hitter. Maybe the time is right to pay the price and sign Bryce Harper. Staying 5 1/2 games back for another month isn't a viable option for the Yankees now...and without Judge it could - and probably will - get worse!
