The Red Sox offense continues its lame performance since the all star break.
-
Since the all star break, the Red Sox offence has shown the ability on a daily basis to make average pitchers look like peak Sandy Koufax. Aside from Duran, the offence has turned into a collective wasteland. They have gone from one of the best offences in baseball, to the 2nd worst OPS in MLB in the 2nd half.

The quality of Dever’s ABs is abysmal .His head is not with the programme -
Well it is September, and that is the time for the annual complete capitulation from the Red Sox.
-
I have to agree with Chad Finn’s recent column, the Sox don’t have enough pitching to make the playoffs . Fatally, it has recently been coupled with a weak offence.

The minging bullpen ming’s yet again

This is a new regime with a revamped pitching programme. we shall see if they develop a pitching pipeline…..

Regardless if the Sox make the playoffs, my lasting memory of the 2024 season is the play of Jarren Duran. He has been an absolute joy to watch with the bat, on the bases, and in the field. 👏
-
During Wong’s slide with the bat, he is pulling the outside pitch weakly to the SS
-
The 2024 Red Sox have mastered not scoring a run when Duran leads off with a double
-
I am happy with Rafaela’s overall progress this season, but he really needs to improve on his chase rate, as he swings at a lot out of the zone.
-
Scoring 4 runs is never enough for the Sox with this pitching staff

Wong has cooled off with the bat. He’s hitting .196 in his last last 15 games -
In the last 7 games, Dever’s has struck out in 10 of his 27 ABs
-
Devers not looking himself in the box lately….
-
Yuk!
-
The Sox offence have been carrying the Red Sox, but a woeful 1/14 with RISP let them down today . The orioles were 0/3 with RISP
-
How is Horn even on the roster, he’s total dogs hit

Duran seems to have lost his mojo with the suspension. 4Ks in his last 8 ABs with 1 hit -
How many runs does the offence need with this bullpen?!!! A farken lot!
-
Playing Hamilton at SS, you know the errors will come .
-
Good to see the bats get going again
-
Devers looking like crap at the plate lately, hitting .192 in his last 7 games with 1 RBI
