  1. He has a good history of bizarre behavior before 2019...
  2. It can be programmed to be a healthy vending machine. Every time someone puts money in, it breaks down and never dispenses any unhealthy snacks...
  3. ... which is why I thought it odd that someone thought he was good enough enticement to take on Happ's contract...
  4. Handful? It has happened one time...
  5. Yes. But I'm not a PED nutbag like a lot of people...
  6. The singer for AC DC? Yeah, too bad or good about him, depending on whatever happened. Same old story, I guess. But hey, at least there are no other Brian Johnson's worth talking about. And that makes me smile...
  7. Honestly, from a strictly baseball talent perspective, this move would make a ton of sense. Especially since we do not live in a world that considers only baseball talent and therefore Puig is actually an affordable and economic option. But if the Sox really want to stay competitive and reset at the same time, Puig is the wild card that can make it happen. Or derail it completely...
  8. ...if you're rounding up to the nearest half...
  9. ... when he wasn't suspended or being punished...
  10. I think he will be robbed. Same goes for Vizquel and Wagner...
  11. And you never have to fire them; you just repurpose them as vending machines...
  12. Puig is crazy, and that’s the only reason he’s a potential bargain. Whatever he eventually signs for will be a ridiculous fraction of what a player with his age and talent should get this off-season. Based on those two factors, should be getting a contract in the same neighborhood as Rendon. But he will probably sign for what Rendon earns in April of 2020. And people will still question if he is worth it...
  13. Right!! He wants this team to be competitive. That’s why Kevin Plawecki is in the argument for “Biggest Off-Season Addition”
  14. No. Robot managers. That way you never have to suspend them. You just reboot them...
  15. It’s certainly possible. But if all the remaining options who will likely sign a MiLB contract, who is better? Jeremy Hellickson might have to settle for a MiLB deal, in which case he is probably th best option. The rest are worse or less likely to sign MiLB deals...
  16. You’d never have to worry about this kind of thing if we had Robot Managers...
  17. Would you prefer trading Betts and signing Puig?
  18. Vegans, ISIS and Jason Sudeikis
  19. You know it’s a puppet, right? No different than punching Cookie Monster (who was voiced by the same guy who voiced Adult Yoda)...
  20. Fine. OpenTable. Whatever...
  21. While that may be, do you really think Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, and Willie Mays should be replaced on the Greatest CF of All Time List by Jackie Bradley, Darren Lewis and Darryl Hamilton?
  22. He also canceled Arrested Development, punched Baby Yoda and gave gout to my aunt. But of all the pitchers willing to sign MiLB deals, he is among the better ones..,
  23. That doesn’t even make sense. “Our farm is barren and we haven’t been able to develop pitching!! So we should give those guys a chance first!!” I do want to see your Yelp reviews on restaurants you review. “The food was horrible!! Completely inedible!! And they don’t give you enough of it either!!” The point is to NOT let the pennant hopes rely too heavily on Shawaryn or Velasquez or Hart...
  24. But how much of that list was influenced by offensive contributions? And was this an all time list? Or just active players?
  25. If someone insists he’s the “greatest [they’ve] ever seen”, I’m ok with that.
