    They have no approach against soft tossing lefties. We’ve seen this game after game this year and for the past few years really.

    I’m not necessarily advocating trading him (I don’t think he ever fully got over that wrist injury. But you have to have more out of your 3-4 hitter. I’m not against trading him either; but with the opt out, the return isn’t going to be fantastic, and the return has to include a major league player.

    The O’s (and Nats) are totally relaxed. That makes them dangerous.

    He can tell the team doesn’t have it. A manger/coach can talk/yell/coddle/whatever all they want, but if the players refuse to change anything, there’s not much he can do.

    No, they need to string together hits. That puts pressure on a pitcher. Solo homers don’t do that.
