    Well, we once had a Bees team in Boston. Maybe it's time for another one. But Big Papi has to be recognized as the "Daddy", so I would rename this team "Three B's and an O"

    I'd say that whatever referendum was once a discussion point can now be put to rest. I don't know what influences he ws under, but he's an entirely different manager. All one has to de is check the Steals vs the CS numbers. They are taking advantage of things like minor passed balls, bad outfielder throws, etc. Go Sox!

    Lost in the barrage of base hits is the most impressive stat(sT of all: SB 30 and CS 2. Both are league-leading. The JF of old seems to have been re-incarnated!

    Over, and not to worry! Yes, he's smart---sometimes too smart. As JF said the other day, "He comes into the dugout after hitting a line drive at some, and wonders what he did wrong! He'll get over it.

    I like to call this tram, the DDPS team (defense depth, power, speed). I saw my first Red Sox game in 1937. Have not seen the inside of Fenway since 1970, but have seen 20 million games on TV since then. This is the most complete team I have ever seen. Many others had the power and even the defense, but none have ever had the speed (almost top to bottom) nor the depth and versatility.

    I've hammered at JBJ so many times, you'd think he'd been around ten years. Nope. Just emerging from the "rookie" class. I go back to Jimmie Foxx, and I've experiences a lot of happy surprise re/the Sox, but this this takes the cake! Go, Jackie and don't look back. It's all in front of you. (And I'm not wrong, this time!) (Whoops, IBJ? Lousy eyes again, sorry!

    Looks to me like he simply has to "loosen up." I hear Farrell has commented that he can hit a line drive and someone, then try to figure out what he did wrong? That says a lot. It's called PRESSING.

    For me, in order of how big it was, an not its importance, I have to go with Hanley, JBJ, Porcello Shaw would be in there for some folks, but I believed what I say last year I thought Hanley and JBJ were history! How dumn can one get?

    I have wanted JF gone since before spring training. After one month of ST and one month of the regular season, I am ready to change my mind. The team is far more aggressive--both at the plate and on the bases--he has stuck (good decision), he kept Mookie in the lead-off spot (while I still claim Holt is a better lead-off man, and Mookie a better RBI man, they seem to be doing very well just the way it is. The pitching has developed; he is using his two catchers they way he should (while CV gets more experience), and (bottom line) the team is playing like they haven't played in 3 years!

    Corny? And probably said 100 times before! But, as soon as Price started hitting the corners, the Braves couldn't hit anything. Very impressive!
