I didn't mean trade JBJ for a good glove OF'er, but if that OF'er is cheaper and can field as well as JBJ, then a trade might be a net plus, even if the next guy can't hit any better than JBJ.
My guess is, we might trade JBJ and some pitcher like Beeks or Johnson for a good SP'er to take Pom's place. Then, we sign or trade for a cheap OF'er who has a great glove. If the guy can't hit, he won't cost much and we break even in CF, but have something to show for the JBJ trade and more money to spend.
This is what I meant by not being "hurt", if we trade him. If we trade him for scraps and move JD to LF FT and Beni to CF, then I will likely be "hurt", depending on who we get for JBJ and how much of an upgrade the return brings us elsewhere.
