bloom shouldn't rush to do anything. we are sellers. let the market come to us. if we have to start the season over budget and make deadline deals to get under...so be it. let the desperation come then. but maybe, just maybe...we get an overpay between now and april 1st or maybe, just maybe someone is desperate at the trade deadline and price is looking good. i am not concerned at all that Bloom hasn't traded anyone yet. that just means he is being smart. and my boy is wicked smaht.

small amusement park. they have a rollercoaster called the dragon coaster that is infamous as the dragon teeth used to be made of wood and a dude got his head lopped off by them when he stood up during the ride. also, the NYR used to practice at their rink. i dont think they still do tho....

i will gladly take: last place, last place, last place, parade every four years. because every single one of those last place finishes i liked our teams chances going into the season. 20 years ago we would have all given our left nut to have a parade. now we are demanding 95 win seasons every year? da fuq.

going back to the earlier pages when posters were ranking the order in which they would trade our current players. for sake of argument let's assume all players are healthy: 1. JDM 2. JBj 3. Mookie 4. Price 5. Evo if we get bounce back years from Price and Evo we have a much much much better shot at making a run at it even with the first 3 on the list traded..... -

oh, no doubt. very similar. if there was a time to do a deadline deal for an SP for the NYY - Jul-2019 was the PERFECT time. but your point is valid...Cherry had trouble pulling the trigger with any of his prospects too.

right. but my point was that last July the NYY had one very obvious and glaring weakness. i could even make an argument that if they had addressed that weakness by trading part of the Farm you guys would be raising a Flag on opening day. nothing was done last July so i was wondering what would make this July so Different? i still haven't seen a good reply / reason. dont get me wrong...i am thrilled cashman sat on his hands last July. shocked. but thrilled. it sealed your 2019 fate.
