apologies SK, but im unsure which one of my 4 points this is in response to or which ones you disagree with? as for "upset" - since cleveland finished with a better record wouldnt us winning the ALDS be considered the "upset"?

yeah man. we will need him to. a game 5 in Cleveland will really make me think about how important every single regular season game really is. listen, i get that HFA is different in Baseball v Football but the way we just finished this season really does remind me of how BB treated the Miami game last year. if we win that game we are hosting Denver in the AFCCG. and no one can convince me that if that game is in Foxboro we dont win it. and no one can convince me that we wouldnt then roll Carolina in the SB and TB12 could have given the NFL the middle finger salute as they handed him the lombardi.

so now that we spit the bit on HFA in this round i find myself in the odd position where i do not want to sweep as i have tickets to Game 4. these should have been game 2 had we not lost our final 28 games..... any guesses on game time for monday's game if it's necessary?

After 2 dismal seasons we find our Beloved Red Sox back in the Postseason. It takes 11 wins to have the Parade. Get the duckboats washed, waxed, and gassed up. WE CAN DO THIS! Matchups still TBD and i will update this post once schedule is set. Ideally we can finish with the first or second best record so at minimum we are Home Team for the ALDS.

i havent moved s***. i have stated unequivocally that kimbrel sucked and owners high fiving is not an excuse. anyone that says it is an excuse has either not played or is getting paid....so yeah...thats my opinion.

yeah...i messed that up too. kimbrel gets the L but kelly gets the blown save because he was the one that gave up the gopher ball.

yes, not pro ball though. so i guess i dont know the effect watching "owners high five" each other would have on me throwing strikes. i guess it's a perfectly logical excuse why Mr. Kimbrel couldnt get a SINGLE f***ING out last night and cost us a Win. hopefully the Red Sox owners arent sitting in the stands in the postseason while Kimbrel is pitching so he doesnt get confused on how hard he should try? give me A f***ING break.....

if you cant get "up" to closeout a game at the stadium of the biggest rival in sports in order to celebrate a win on their field (let alone celebrating winning the ALE) - honestly i dont want you on my team. go. get out. i would rather have henry flippin' owens close games.

he definitely played at a higher level than me. he's still wrong though. i only get the skankees broadcast when they play the sox as i am in NY area. are you not tired of the excuses being made for these 2 guys? i am.

i was just giving you credit for your endless claims beginning-mid season how a 5th starter is the reason we would make the postseason. you ended up being right but refuse to give Clay the credit for being that 5th starter that helped us to the postseason. now you are saying it was all the other reasons that some of us were saying all along. Me? i was saying we needed Price to pitch like an Ace in order to make it. i was wrong. we made the postseason in spite of price acting like a 4/5 starter... -

when someone doesnt understand that if the team lost 11 in a row in september all the blame would have been on JF and zero on DD. but since we won 11 in a row in september all the credit goes to the roster DD created and JF doesnt get mentioned. -

how many posts did you make this season where you complained "if only we had a 5th starter that could be sub 7 ERA we would be in first place"? how many times? well, the second half Clay stepped up and became the sub 3.4 ERA starter. and lo and behold we won the ALE. so i guess you were right for all those posts you made. but now you are denying that the #5 (Clay) SP was the most important factor of us succeeding in 2016 regular season? you cant make this stuff up....
