    but if he did opt out that would be a win-win, no?. he got us a parade...and if he opts out we are out from under $31MM x 4 as he heads thru mid 30's. but again, he doesnt need to throw another pitch and im good with the contract. that's how much a parade means to me.

    First off - congrats right back at you sir. was a GLORIOUS 2018 season. now the fun that is Hot Stove begins. my take on our FA's: Kimbrel: good luck in your new town. Kelly: priority resign. Pom: good luck in your new town. Eovaldi: try and resign. lets not go too crazy here with years though. Pearce: try and resign. Kinsler: good luck in your new town. Philips: good luck in your new town.

    I think DD keeps Kelly. and that's it. kimbrel, pearce, pom, swi, evo, kinsler all gone. i would like to see pearce & evo stay but i dont think it's gonna happen.

    if you havent noticed...i am the one guy that can come on here and eat my crow / admit when i was wrong. i love that Price proved me wrong. Pom never did but i absolutely respect DD for getting us a parade. i bitched he didnt get us a RP at this years deadline...but he did FAR more by getting us Pearce and Evo. thank you DD.

    High Fives to all my Red Sox brothers! this one is very special. this team is full of great men who make it easy to root for them. they earned this one and blitzkreig'd the postseason. TIME TO PARTY! fun fact: the Boston Red Sox have won the very first and last World Series.
