im not really saying fire cora. i am saying he is earning the WTF Cora moniker. it is still early in the season but gun to my head i would put it like this:
just about all the iffy moves in 2018 worked well for Cora/Red Sox/Us
just about all the iffy moves in 2019 worked poorly for Cora/Red Sox/Us
im 100% fine with Barnes being used for whatever inning is deemed the "save" inning. but the man threw 12 pitches. we have to treat him like CK and be 1 inning only?
i wouldnt compare brasier's role with 2018 CK role. i finally got a chance to watch the inning today and it was pretty obvious bras didnt have it. i dont know....seems like a manager mistake to me to stick with him for so long in that inning - and then going to lakins? walden certainly didnt help WTF Cora when he only managed to get 1 out in the 8th....barnes only had 12 pitches...perhaps he could have started teh 9th?
in 2014 the Boston Red Sox last day above last place was July 21st
in 2015 the Boston Red Sox last day above last place was Oct 2nd
we have time to get there.
i think questioning the managers use of ryan brasier last night is justified. especially sticking with him for so long in the inning and then going to travis lakins. do you disagree?
it sure is looking that way. is there anyone down in the minors that we can speed up to give a shot at RP? seems we have at least 3 guys in the pen that we absolutely cannot trust in med or high leverage situations.
or he could have at least had hembree up for the 9th? once the first dingah sailed over the wall perhaps it was a signal that braz was going to cough it up?
WTF Cora
FTR he has 3 WS rings.
he is not close to sniffing the top 10 Red Sox players of alltime.
he's slightly ahead of spike owen and slightly behind marty barrett.
welcome to the thunderdome!
do any of those 6 teams offer you the games on your local package??
some of the guys on here have ways to circumvent the blackout rules so maybe they can chime in....
